The Concert 88 Lavalier UHF Wireless Microphone Presentation System from Samson consists of a CR88 half-rack UHF receiver, a CB88 bodypack transmitter, and an LM5 lavalier microphone with clip. It can be used in live sound reinforcement applications for capturing speech wherein the speaker wants to be free to move around.

The receiver features a true diversity dual-antenna design whereby internal signal processing switches to the antenna that is receiving a stronger signal. This helps to prevent drop-outs and maintain a more accurate transmission. The unit includes a tone key and an auto-mute function to eliminate noise if the receiver ever loses the signal. For controls, the receiver features a power button, volume knob, select button, a 7-segment channel indicator LED, as well as audio ready, peak, and IR indicator lights.

Up to 16 of these systems may operate simultaneously on two frequency bands from a maximum operating range of 300'. The bodypack transmitter is synced with the receiver via infrared and can operate for up to eight hours on two AA batteries. For convenience, the lavalier microphone includes a spring-loaded clip so you can attach it to your lapel.

Concert 88 Lavalier UHF Wireless Microphone Presentation System (D: 542 to 566 MHz) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Having some issues now I have given these a good review in the past, but am now getting sporadic interference with these units. I suspect that the local airwaves have become more congested, and this is the cause of the issues. If you're in a less-populated area than mine (Manhattan NY), these just might be good for you. I've been getting some pops and fuzzes on these mikes (at reasonable line-of-sight distances), and they have been distracting for my application, so I've switched to more expensive units.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good system! These work just fine. Have used them in Manhattan for PA use in panel discussions and the like with no problems. This is notable because of all the RF in the air here. I now have 5 of these units, including 4 lavaliers and 1 handheld. They have all worked fine right out of the box. I have not used them at their full maximum spec. range of 300ft, but 75ft has been no problem, even through one wall. Some have commented that their construction seems flimsy, but in my experience they are built well enough, especially considering their performance at a fraction of the price of other brands. And I have seen several wedding bands that use them exclusively. The fact that these are frequency agile is a big plus, as you can mix mikes and base units within their band (units are fixed to either C or D band in the US), and choose from 16 channels per band. Biggest complaint, by far, is that the foam windscreen is easy to lose, so maybe get some extras - they can be found cheaply enough - or find a way to fix the windscreen to the mike. BTW the replacement plug-in mikes are quite inexpensive, and I've used these quite successfully to replace mikes on Shure SLX body packs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great! Bought this wireless lavalier microphone system for a presentation. It worked exactly as advertised. The sound was clean, clear, and had plenty of volume to spare. As was noted in other reviews, the tie clip comes loose fairly easily, but a small piece of scotch tape worked great. It was a breeze to setup, and extremely simple to use. Our school will be using it for a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! I bought this for use in my local synagogue for speeches/lectures. We were having an issue with the previous mic we had that used bluetooth connection, but this is no longer an issue. This product works great, was easy and quick to set up and we now have no issues with interference! Highly recommend this product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from reliable I preach with this microphone. It works well and doesn't cause feedback with the other mics. The micriphone cover falls off easily if you are not careful, you can lost it.
