The black NP-H750-B USB DAC / Network Player Integrated Amplifier from TEAC is a stereo integrated analog amplifier that delivers 40W per channel power output to serve as a capable core unit for most home audio systems. Its speaker outputs are equipped with banana-plug compatible terminals to transmit full-fledged, audio signals and to allow users a wide range of compatible speaker choices and subwoofers. This amplifier features a discrete amplifier configuration and the circuitry supports both high S/N (Signal to Noise) and low distortion ratios to reproduce the most delicate musical nuances. It incorporates the BurrBrown PCM1795 DAC for digital to analog signal conversion. This D/A converter features 32-bit processing for faithful, high-fidelity conversion of various digital audio sources into analog signals.
This Amplifier incorporates SILMIC Series aluminum electrolytic capacitors manufactured by ELNA Co. Ltd. Moreover, to reduce signal loss in the capacitor, it uses a 55-μm low-multiplier high-purity cathode foil for delivering mellow, powerful, and full-bodied sound. The front panel, side panel, volume, and multi-jog dials of this amplifier are made of aluminum for durability, as well as refined looks. The input terminals of this amplifier, namely digital inputs (optical / coaxial), phono inputs, and RCA stereo-analog inputs, allow users to connect various audio products and home applications including TVs to the amplifier.
You can easily connect this Amplifier to a Windows PC or Mac computer through only 1 USB cable (sold separately) for full digital connection, which facilitates the transfer of various digital audio sources and lets you access high-quality 24-bit / 192 kHz audio files. This amplifier converts your iTunes and Windows Media Player into high-quality audio players, once the connection is made and the driver is set up. It also supports the asynchronous mode to ensure minimum jitter. In addition, this Network Player Integrated Amplifier features Internet Radio that lets the user listen to more than 24,000 Internet radio stations in different genres from around the world, anytime and free of charge. Users can enjoy music and talk-radio from their favorite stations all day long, without swapping CDs or browsing through playlists.
The preinstalled and easy-to-set up AirPlay function in the Network Player Integrated Amplifier allows users to enjoy streaming playback of music titles stored on their iOS device or in their iTune's Music Library via LAN. This Amplifier also features the DLNA1.5 certified music streaming function which lets users access all their music files stored on a PC or NAS device, by using it as a music server, from anywhere at home via LAN. With multiple music players capable of streaming playback located in different rooms, users can play different music files from each player simultaneously, for example, classical music in the living room and jazz in the dining room.
This Amplifier is compatible with all Apple products including iPod, iPad, and iPhone for plug and play use. The USB port on its front panel allows direct digital connections of any iOS device using a USB cable (sold separately) to reproduce pure, degradation-free digital audio. The port also charges the battery in the USB device at the same time. Moreover, this amplifier can directly play back audio files in various formats stored on a USB memory device.
This Amplifier features the following rear panel connectors:
USB Audio Input Port: Use to input digital audio from a computer. Connect with a USB port on the computer using a USB cable (sold separately) to make the connection. Install the dedicated driver before connecting the computer to this port by USB.
Ethernet Port: For using a wired Internet connection, connect the Ethernet port of this unit to an Ethernet network using an Ethernet cable (sold separately). If you connect or disconnect the Ethernet cable while the unit is turned on, put the unit in standby, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet, connect it and turn the unit on again.
Wireless LAN Antenna: The unit connects to the wireless LAN using the wireless LAN antenna.
Power Inlet: Here you can connect the included power cord.
Digital Audio Input Connectors (Coaxial, Optical): This connector is used to input digital audio. Connect to the digital audio output connectors of a device capable of outputting digital audio. Coaxial: Coaxial digital cable (RCA), Optical: Optical digital cable (TOS)
AUX 1 In / Out Jacks: This connector is for input / output analog audio signals. Connect this unit’s input and output jacks to the output and input jacks of other devices using audio cables (sold separately).
Phone Jacks: Connect the turntable’s RCA pin cable to the PHONO jacks. This unit supports the use of MM cartridges (input sensitivity: 2.5 mV / 47kΩ). It does not support the use of MC cartridges.
Grounding Connector: Connect the grounding wire of the turntable to this connector. This is not an electrical safety ground. If the grounding wire of the turntable is not connected here, a hum noise may be heard.
