49mm Macro Close-up +10 Lens is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice inexpensive macro lens While this won't replace a real macro lens, it does do a nice job turning a standard lens into a macro lens. It also works well if you already have a macro lens. The pictures below are with and without shots. THe first is with only my 30mm macro lens. The second picture is with the same lens, but with the Close Up lens attached. AS you can see, it does a nice job!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great compact macro option I use this to extend my NEX-5N with various E-Mount lenses to be able to do close-up macro shots (flowers, insect, etc.) without the cost and bulk of adding another lens to my kit. It works reasonably well - significantly reduces the minimum focus distance so you can use the full capabilities of the camera (auto/manual focus etc.) with higher magnifications. The lens is not perfect - there is a little chromatic aberration (CA) in some cases, and it narrows DOF significantly so you need to minimize the aperture to compensate, but overall it's a useful tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent addition to the Sony RX100ii! Next best to a macro lens is this two-element closeup lens. Works great with great clarity, contrast, and definition.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As a wedding videographer.. I shoot a lot of weddings, and was going to get a macro lens to shoot video of the rings. Purchased this instead, and while it's not as convenient as another lens would be, it gets the job done. I use it on my Zeiss 55mm and love the shallow DOF I can get on the up close shots
