DPA Microphones SCM0017 Overview

Due to its flexibility, the SCM0017 can be used for both left- and right-side mounting. The rear cable hook allows you to run the mic cable behind clothes, minimizing the lavalier's visual appearance.

The SCM0017 is backward-compatible with non-cable-reinforced miniature lavalier microphones via a sliced-cable relief.

Not perfect, but work

These work, but the jaws are a bit difficult to open (stiff spring), and on surfaces other than clothing, don't seem to hold all that well. But, they are fairly easy to route the cable to avoid microphonics. They also angle the mic usefully away from the clamping material.

I couldn't be more happier than this recent purchase of the SCM0017 Miniature Mic Holder. If fits perfect with my stereo pair of DPA 4060s. The clips are secure and it can be positioned in many ways from clipping it to your shirt to using it as a mount on my glasses for binaural recordings.

Would this be compatible with the Sennheiser ME 2 Clip-On lavalier mic, or with any of the lavs that come with the EW G3 systems?

This clip is specifically designed to work with the DPA AC4060 series mics only.
