The 4-16x42 AO Tactical IR Riflescope from Firefield is a nitrogen-filled zoom optic designed for mid-range targets. Complementing this scope's 16x maximum zoom and 1:4 zoom ratio is adjustable objective (AO) parallax correction, which can be set from 15 yd to infinity by rotating the ring on the objective bell. This scope features a Mil Dot reticle that can be illuminated in red or green using a dedicated reticle brightness side turret. The reticle illumination control has five selectable brightness settings for each color; green illumination is more visible than red in low-light conditions, but red is more useful for targeting subjects among a woodland landscape. In addition to the broad zoom range and illuminated reticle, the Tactical riflescope has a multicoated optical path, shock-resistant housing, and 1/4 MOA locking turrets, equipping this optic for reliable mid-range performance outdoors.

4-16x42 AO Tactical IR Riflescope (Mil Dot) is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great scope for price I bought this scope and put it on my 22-250. I didnt want to spend a ton of money byt needed a little more than the 3x9 scope that came on the gun originally. I have shot about 50 rounds now with this scope on and am impressed at the quality for the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So far so good. I bought this scope to try and make an extremely CHEAP long range gun so I am not expecting miracles. I have only sighted this scope in so far and haven't shot it again yet. One problem is with the flip-up caps that come with this scope, they are pretty much useless & will have to be replaced. Because it came with flip-ups is one small reason I decided on this scope. To save $20. The front one had fallen off in the packaging. It flys off with every shot. If Firefield cant get a cap right I dont hold out much hope for the scope. Having said that the turrets have a nice click that can be felt and heard. I then reset them to 0. The glass was not as clear as I had hoped but for the price was expected. I will update this review after some testing and use but so far seems ok for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good scope for price! Nice scope for under 100 bucks. Flip up Lens covers are junk. Clear out to about x12 in lower lighting.
