By pushing the Pair button on the adapter, you can set up a hassle-free Powerline network within minutes, complete with 128-bit AES encryption for network security and data protection. Simply plug the adapter into the power outlet, connect the device via the network cable to the adapter, and press the pair buttons.
Power-Saving Mode

TL-PA2010KIT AV200 Nano Powerline Adapter Starter Kit is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very effective Quick plug n play, plenty of bandwidth for most IP providers (15Mbps or 25Mbps) as I had both download speeds and was never limited by this 200Mbps adapters. I use them to play games online, stream vids/music from PC to appleTV and have not problems. If you are looking to do large file transfers between machines on a home network, then maybe go to a higher bandwidth, but if you are streaming/downloading from an outside source, 99% of the time the IP provider will be limiting your bandwidth, unless you are paying for > 100Mbps.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Disappointing Speed I heard about the TP-Link Powerline Adapter on Leo Laporte's Tech Guy show and bought it hoping it could give me better performance in another part of the house than I could get with Wi-fi. My router is giving out over 100 Mbps down and 35 Mbps up. On the remote laptop, with wi-fi, I was getting around 35 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up. After hooking up the TP-Link, the speed actually got dropped a few Mbps. Huh? I tried again, resetting and reinstalling everything again. Same results. Speed dropped a few megabits when using the TP-Link. The next morning I called the manufacturer. She told me that it was not normal for the TP-Link to drop the speed by 1/3 of the ethernet speed. She said maybe half speed, but not a third. (I must admit, I was expecting more than half the speed using the TP-Link.) She said to try updating the firmware and that should fix the issue. She said she would send me an email with directions. When the email arrived, the directions simply directed me to their website. I went there and no where on their website was firmware for the TP-Link TL-PA2010. At that point I gave up, packed the unit up, and returned it. I wish it would have worked since I had high hopes for this unit. But I cannot recommend it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Speeds not as advertised The product works and is easy to set up. At my house though our 80Mbps internet connection was bottlenecked to 25 Mbps after passing through the Powerline Adapter hampering our ability to set up a better wifi network. We have some RF interference eliminating somewhere in out house. It could be effecting the powerline too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job This is the third time I needed to buy this product used to send the signal from my solar array inverter panel to my Internet connection. The new product works fine but the useful life of the product is really short. While I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, I don't know what device I would buy as a substitute or to recommend to others.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Failed after two months As the other reviewers say, this adapter is easy to set up and works like a charm. Unfortunately, two months after I bought it, one of the adapters just stopped working and I had to replace it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Easy Install Just plug directly into Ac outlet and other end into router then plug additional units near systems in other rooms with Ethernet cables. So Easy. Fast enough to run smart Blue Ray players.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the trick! Wifi was spotting in one room of my house. This unit solved my problem! One end at the router and one end at the computer. Simple and effective!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Powerline Adapter In the office there were too many computers on the wi-fi. This adapter came in use for a smooth connection and kept the servers working fast!
