Gefen 32 DVI Input, 32 DVI FM Extenders, & 32 Fiber Output Modular Matrix

The Gefen 32 DVI Input, 32 DVI FM Extenders, & 32 Fiber Output Modular Matrix can be deployed 24/7 across command centers, internet data centers, or other applications where enhanced reliability, ease of servicing, and zero down-time are required.

This system consists of one GEF-MOD-32432 32 x 32 Modular Matrix Frame, 32 units each of the EXT-DVI-FM1000P FM 1000 Plus DVI Extender Sender and the GEF-DVI-1FO-R DVI Extender over One Fiber Receiver Unit, 4 units each of the GefenPRO GEF-DVI-8FO-S 8-Output DVI Extender over One Fiber-Optic Sender Module and the GEF-MOD-8DVI-I 8-Input DVI Plug-in Board, a CAB-DB9-6MF DB9 Male to DB9 Female Serial Adapter Cable, and 2 CAB-POWERCORD-13A-US AC Power Cords.

The core of this system consists of the GEF-MOD-32432 32 x 32 modular matrix frame; a powerful, expandable video distribution hub that contains eight expansion bays. This modularity enables customization of the switching system to suit your exact specifications by allowing you to choose from a variety of compatible input and output cards. It is capable of routing input signals with resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 from 32 DVI sources across 32 DVI outputs over fiber optic cable. While the LCD readout on the front-panel displays the current routing status, the push buttons allow for easy control over routing of input signals to display devices. Remote control and management is made easy by the RS-232 interface and IP control (with built-in web server, Telnet, and UDP).

The GefenPRO EXT-DVI-FM1000P FM 1000 Plus DVI Extender can be used for extending a DVI source to a monitor or a HDTV display up to 3300’ over a single multimode fiber optic cable (terminated in a SC connection). This extender uses a sender module and a receiver module that plug into a HD source and a monitor/HDTV respectively.

Additionally, the GefenPRO GEF-DVI-8FO-S 8-Output DVI Extender over One Fiber-Optic Sender Module extends DVI signals up to 6600’ (2000m) over fiber optic cables. It can be installed in any one or all of the output slots of a GefenPRO Modular Matrix. The GefenPRO GEF-DVI-1FO-R DVI Extender over One Fiber Receiver Unit converts the fiber optic signals received from the sender module back to DVI before forwarding them to the display modules.

The GefenPRO GEF-MOD-8DVI-I 8-Input DVI Plug-in Board allows DVI signals to be routed from multiple sources and installs in any one of the four input slots of GefenPro Modular Matrix.

The 6’-long CAB-DB9-6MF Serial Adapter Cable features a DB9 male plug on one end and a DB9 female plug on the other. It enables you to manage the functions of the GefenPro Matrix System via RS232 control.
