StarTech USB-A Male to USB-B Male 3.1 Gen 1 Reviews
Reliable, High-Quality
I purchased the StarTech 30' Active USB 3.0 Type-A to Type-B cable to connect my printer and audio interface across a large studio setup, and it has exceeded expectations. The signal is stable, with no lag or dropouts, even at this extended length—something you can’t say for passive cables at this range. The build quality is excellent—solid connectors, well-insulated cable, and no interference issues. It’s truly plug-and-play with no extra power source or setup required. Data transfers are fast and reliable, maintaining full USB 3.0 speeds. If you're looking for a long USB cable that just works without compromises, this is the one. StarTech continues to deliver professional-grade connectivity solutions. Highly recommended!
High quality cable, solved my problems
Before I got this cable I was having serious problems with USB 3, to the point where rolling back to USB 2 was more productive (my computing is a bit older, but still IT pro level). This StarTech cable gave me a solid bus connection and made all the difference. The construction and materials are high quality and as soon as I started using it I knew I'd started to pull a painful thorn out of my side. By comparing, I was able to weed out and replace the inadequate cables infesting my setup (all of which were supplied by the makers of the USB-3 gear!). The higher-end StarTech cables are well worth any reasonable cost premium, and at B&H it's usually not that much anyway. Do I sound like an ad? Fine. That's how much frustration and time this purchase has saved me.
