While you cannot directly connect a sound source to the American DJ Mega Bar RGBA light fixture, the light fixture does have a "Sound Active" mode which you may set on the device, then set the sound sensitivity level, which would then allow the light fixture to react to sound and chase through the different colors.

Is it easy to clamp?
It depends on what you are clamping to. We purchased a T-Bar for it. We have put it on a couple of other things. Just let me know.

does this have a fan or does it make any sort of noise when in operation?
Doing karaoke shows,..never noticed! Just know that I am impressed with what it does for my show (although show has been handed down with me doing another line of work now) I still invest in the equipment for the bar I rent my equipment to, and would surely consider a second one should they ask!
