question

Hi,I just purchased the Canon EOS M with the 22mm lens and was bummed to learned it does not zoom. Does this camera zoom with the lens that's provided? Also, does the LCD screen tilt and if so can you face it towards yourself to take selfies? I am going on a road trip and will most likely not have an extra hand in taking photos so it would be a huge plus if I can see what im taking a photo of!Thanks for the help!

question

Does this come with the newer slim lens or the older longer lens? The item title states 14-42mm F/3.5-5.6 II and I believe the II denotes the newer lens, but the picture does not reflect. (The new one closes in on itself like the Sony Alphas, while the old one is much longer and fixed length with two rings of ridges)
Asked by: Anonymous
Panasonic makes three lenses that are 14-42. The one in the kit is in the middle. It is not the pancake version which is the shortest and it is not the longest. The version ii that comes with the kit is Approx.49mm / 1.9 inch (from the tip of the lens to the base side of the lens mount). The pancake lens can be seen at this link but it does not come in the kit, http://bhpho.to/1odw1j4

question

is there a way to use external flash with this camera?
Asked by: Anonymous
The camera lacks a flash shoe for an external flash, but it does have the ability to wirelessly control the Panasonic DMW FL360L flash unit (it can wirelessly control up to 3 units). However in this wireless TTL program it is not possible to use a bracket with the flash mounted above the camera, doing so would cause the flash to not be in the line of sight for the infrared transmission that comes from the camera to the flash. You could use various stands to place the flash around your subjects however.
