HoldFast Gear MM06WBBUM Reviews

Money Maker 2-Camera Leather Harness (Burgundy, Silver Hardware, Medium) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Money Maker harness I recently just bought my camera harness and have now photographed 3 weddings using it and I just love it! Before I would leave a wedding after 10 plus hours and find that my neck would hurt along with the centre of my back from holding my camera in one place around my neck all day. I tried the padded straps but they never seemed to help enough. All the tension would go through my neck and into my back. Now with my holdfast strap the weight is distributed evenly across my back and I don't get the neck and back pain anymore. It was worth every penny to me and the best part is I could have both my cameras on me at the same time, so I am always prepared and not fiddling to change lenses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product This has got to be my best purchase I have done for a long time. I am a wedding photographer and often at the end of the night, carrying two Canon 1D X all day leaves me with a very bad neck, shoulder and back pain. Since I got this money maker two-camera harness, I no longer have any issues with bodily pain. It has also simplified my workflow, being able to carry two camera on me with easy access ensures that I am less likely to miss any shot while changing lens. This product is also very well built. Highly recommended!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish, Functional, and Comfy all day! I use this primarily for shooting Weddings, and I was looking for something to hold 2 camera bodies that was comfy and looked good. I didn't like the way most dual camera straps looked so this leather strap definitely won for looks. I wasn't sure how comfortable it would be but I used it for a 10 hour wedding day and felt little to no strain all day. A lot more comfy than any other strap I've owned. I'm about 5'6 and 165lbs and it fits me great! The clips that hold the camera are not easy to attach and detach but that's big reassurance that my cameras will not come unclipped and fall to the ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from its awesome fits perfect, was worried about size medium - I'm 5'11 and 190 with muscular frame -- i haven't worn a medium anything since i was 15, but this is just right - great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks Good but Could Use a Few Tweaks I love the leather. It's beautiful and looks good. It's comfortable to wear and supports the weight really well. I keep getting my clothes stuck in the slider rings though! Perhaps I just need to make some adjustments to the length, but it's rather annoying. Also, when shooting weddings, I sometimes take a camera off for part of the day and just shoot with one. It would be great if it split into two neck straps to have the versitility of either option like some other brands do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love them. But... I've been using these for about two years now. They have seen over 100 shoots. They are comfortable, distribute the weight well, and look cool. I am complemented on the strap every event I wear it. The main problem I have it the rough leather on the underside of the straps rubs my clothing really bad. I have to replace the shirts I wear for my jobs every 3 months or so due to the extreme wearing and balling of the fabric.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing cheap about it .. This is my first camera strap after shooting weddings full time for about 12 years.. The strap is made very very well. No joke.. As for wearing it, feels great, very practical, easy to operate. Snags your shirt if your not operating the way IT dictates.. This strap also draws some guest comments im sure that include words like bondage and slave included in them. No hiding this thing- buckles straps loops leather ya know what i mean. Be ready to experience that... and if you dig that, then you should buy 2 of these cause they are excellent !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Camera Harness Really comfortable harness.. I would however suggest the large and not the regular if you wear anything but a Medium size shirt. The holdfast site says go with a large if you wear an extra large.. I say if your a slightly bigger guy and are 5'9 or taller go bigger.. I returned my regular and ordered the large.

question

plz help, does this model contains adjustable sliders?
Asked by: arun p.
It does! What I would recommend is to go to their website and see their recommendations on the size of the Money Maker that you need to get depending on your height. I am 5' 11 so I got the medium and it fits perfectly, but I can still adjust it. In case that you are still deciding to get it or not, it is also totally worth it.

question

I read something in the Holdfast website that speaks about the Water Buffalo versions having the potential to color bleed if worn on light clothing. They go onto confirm that color bleed will happen if you wear white for the majority of your shoots. Anybody faced such bleed issues ? And how bad is it ?
Asked by: Anonymous
I have this water buffalo money maker, which I've wore in multiple weddings and yes it does bleed on the bottom sides of the sleeves and under the armpit area. The stains are removable but you need to scrub it well in order to come off. After the water buffalo money maker has been wore in, then the bleeding fades away.
