question

Is there a way to protect the Ricoh GR lens from dust ingress?
Asked by: Chip
Not that I know of, but, at the same time, I don't see any need since the camera doesn't have interchangeable lenses.

question

How useful is the macro? 3.9 seems awfully far away from the subject.
Asked by: Anonymous
It is more useful than you may think. Its not the closest focusing camera in the compact category but it is still a closer advantage than you would have otherwise had without it. The camera by all accounts is a great camera, however I would say if Macro shots are a priority for you, you may wish to consider a different model with an even closer minimum focusing distance. - Yossi
