The HIP-4LENS Hip-Pack Lens Case from Porta Brace is an extra-large pack that comfortably stores up to four lenses with a maximum length if 7" and various accessories. Its top loading zippered front compartment offers quick access to your lenses when shooting. Furthermore, it can sit comfortably in the back (fanny) position and be pulled around to rest in the front for better access to lenses.

The interior of the hip pack provides padded dividers that can be adjusted to fit the lenses you are carrying or removed completely. The interior is lined with copper-colored Veltex to prevent damage or scratching to your lenses and for easy visibility of your equipment.

The construction of the pack is semi-rigid, padded and built from 1000-denier Cordura fabric. It provides a zippered "shelf-pocket" on the top, three front slip pockets, and side pockets for additional small accessories. The nylon waist belt is wide and generously padded and closes/opens with a quick-release squeeze clasp.

    HIP-4LENS Hip-Pack Lens Case is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Pack, but Looking for the right pack has been an enduring challenge. I have tried traditional camera backpacks, sling bags, and traditional bags. This pack's strength permits access without taking the pack off, highly desirable. Up to four lenses or gear are at your finger tips. Great. After evaluating it in person I had to return it as it wouldn't fit my needs. Although fit and finish were nice, carrying four lenses would be very challenging as there isn't enough space to place them side-by-side. I cannot think of a situation where I would carry four lenses (plus a fifth already on my camera body) but this bag just didn't seem versatile enough to adapt to other gear. In addition, the pack seems too stiff to be comfortable over long periods. I replaced this pack with a series of ThinkTank products that will cover my needs for a long time to come.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK but could be better This is supposed to hold 4 lenses but it really only holds 3 real world lenses, especially with the lens hoods on. You will want to buy a shoulder strap. It sags with just the waist strap. Some of the pockets are not very useful. The pockets built into the waistband are not useful for much of anything. The end pockets should be pleated so they could expand. So also should the front pockets. You also need to be careful when you unzip the lid pocket as the contents could easily end up on the ground when opened. It can be a little temperamental when you're trying to get a lens out in a hurry. It's more useful than the HIP-3 but I am still searching for the perfect case. I already own the HIP-3 and I thought the HIP-4 would fix things. Oh well. Would recommend with the above caveats. It works at some level for me but for you it might be perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT COMFORTABLE WITH LENS INSIDE PORTA BRACE NORMALLY MAKES TOP QUALITY PRODUCTS. BUT THIS IS AN EXCEPTION. WAIST BELT IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, STRAPS TO HOLD THE WAIST BELT NOT TIGHT AND SLIP, ESPECIALLY WHEN 3-4 LENS ARE IN THE BELT

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Portable Bag This is a great addition and I like the idea of being able to put around the waist.
