Pelco IXE10 overview

  • 1Description

The Pelco IXE10LW-12-EB-K IP WDR Day/Night Network Camera features SureVision technology that delivers advanced low-light performance, WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), and anti-bloom technology for good image quality and performance. The 1.2 Mp network camera includes a mechanical IR cut filter for increased sensitivity in low-light installations. Anti-bloom technology adjusts the image to create good picture when a bright light source is introduced in a dark scene, such as the glaring head lights of nighttime traffic.

Designed to install quickly, this camera also includes ABF (Auto Back Focus), built-in analytics, and other advanced features needed for demanding security applications. This camera features Sarix technology that defines the next generation of video security imaging performance, delivering HD (High Definition) resolution, advanced low-light capabilities, consistent color science, and fast processing power. The H.264 compression video files are small, thereby making high-definition video more affordable.

This camera can support 2 simultaneous video streams that can be compressed in MJPEG and H.264 formats across several resolution configurations. The extended platform gives real time video (30 ips) with HD resolution using H.264 compression for optimized bandwidth and storage efficiency. The streams can be configured to a variety of frame rates, bit rates, and GOP (Group of Pictures) structures for additional bandwidth administration.

The Sarix Camera features Pelco analytics that enhances the flexibility and performance. 8 Pelco behaviors are preloaded on the network camera and it can be configured and enabled using a standard Web browser. They are compatible with Endura or a third-party system that supports Pelco’s Analytics API system. This camera uses a standard Web browser for powerful remote setup and administration.

This camera features window blanking and video systemization. Window blanking is used to conceal user-defined privacy areas that cannot be viewed by an operator. It supports up to 4 blanked windows. A blanked area will appear on the screen as a solid gray window.

This camera easily connects to Pelco IP and hybrid systems such as Endura version 2.0 (or later), Digital Sentry version 4.2 (or later), and Digital Sentry NVs. The camera also features open architecture connectivity to third-party software. Pelco offers an API (Application Programming Interface) for interfacing with its network cameras.

This camera includes 8 user-configurable behaviors such as abandoned object, adaptive motion, camera sabotage, directional motion, loitering detection, object counting, object removal, and stopped vehicle. The camera is capable of running up to 3 behaviors at the same time; although, the number of behaviors is limited to the available processing power of the camera and the type of analytic being used.

Multiple Pelco behaviors can be scheduled to work during a certain time or condition. For example, during the day, a camera can be configured with Object Counting to count the number of people that enter a lobby door. At night, the operator can change the profile to Camera Sabotage to trigger an alarm if a camera is moved or obstructed.

The EH3512-2 Small Outdoor 24VAC Enclosure features a heater, defroster, and blower. This enclosure is constructed from die cast and extruded aluminum. It has a lower body length of 12.75” (32.38cm). This enclosure is designed for use with cameras that have fixed focal length lenses or motorized zoom lenses (with or without auto iris operation). The front hinged lid provides easy access to the removable camera sled and the 2 adjustable (PG13.5) glands at the bottom of the enclosure allow for easy installation of the power and video cables. The rear link-lock latch can be used with a padlock of suitable size to secure the enclosure.

The EM1450 Light Duty Wall Mount is designed for use with the EH2512 Basic Enclosure. This mount is manufactured from die-cast aluminum, and is capable of supporting a maximum load of 20 lb (9kg) and can be safely mounted to any vertical load-bearing surface. This mount features a small adjustable mounting head that is less obstrusive and offers ample clearance between the cable feedthrough glands and the mounting head. This EM1450 mount can also be adapted for pole mount applications when used with the PA101 Adapter (sold separately).

The 2.8-12mm 13M Megapixel Auto Iris Varifocal Lens is designed to provide optimal results when used in cameras with Mp sensors. This lens enables the IXE10 Sarix Camera to realize high resolutions with a resolving power of up to 100 lines per millimeter. This lens provides good image quality at both the center and at the corner of the image.

This lens is designed for indoor and outdoor lighting conditions and includes a spot filter. A factory-installed square 4-pin plug is standard for ease of installation. This lens has a slip mechanism that allows it to be easily adjusted and oriented inside enclosures, domes, and so forth. In addition, the metal mount makes for a robust and secure attachment to our camera.

Note: Available processing power is determined by the settings for compression standards, resolution, image rate, bit rate, and analytic configuration.
