question

The specs do not have the maximum height without the center column extension. Could someone measure thus without the extension?
Asked by: Luke N.
The Benro A2192TB1 Travel Flat II Transfunctional Tripod will have a max height of roughly 57.1 without the column extended. With the column extended, that should give youre an extra 8 roughly.

question

I have never used a ball head tripod before. I am looking a tripod for a 4x5 Omega View Camera.Could not decide between this andInduro AKP2 Adventure Series Tripod w/ 3-Way Pan Head Kit B&H # INAKP2 MFR # 470-042any recommendations?
Asked by: Sergio A.
The advantage of a ball head is quick composition and adjustment - loosen one screw give your camera all degrees of freedom, compose and lock - all done with one thumb screw. But it's only as accurate as you can steady the camera. View Cameras require a lot more precise setup and more accurate positioning which a ball head will not give you. I would use a 3way Pan Head for view camera where you can adjust one axis at a time.

The tripod head can hold a maximum load of 26.4 pounds, however, the legs can hold up to 17 pounds, thus the total load capacity is 17 pounds.
