Cyberlink's PowerDVD 13 Ultra Media Player is a sophisticated all-in-one platform to organize and interact with all of your movie, video, music and photo media. PowerDVD connects to your home and mobile devices, home networks, social media sites, and movie and music sites. You'll be able to sync all your files and take them with you on the go or access them from any device in your network.

But these factors are only the foundation of the program's technology. You'll moreover be able to employ numerous intuitive tools to enhance the quality of your media and your interaction with it. Please see the "Over 60 New Features & Enhancements" section below if you're a previous PowerDVD user, or scroll down to "What is PowerDVD 13 Ultra?" if you're a totally new user.

Also, PowerDVD is a Windows-based program, and with Windows 8 not featuring built-in support for playing DVDs, you can use PowerDVD's DVD player to play your DVDs on your computer.
