    Brother MFC-9330CDW reviews

MFC-9330CDW Wireless Color All-in-One Laser Printer is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ehh This relationship is starting poorly and may already be over. Magenta toner did not survive the trip from Bother to me. As in, open the cover and hey look, red! On hold - again - with tech support. First guy asked me for the same information twice and wants to send me a new magenta toner - because it leaked. Not sure how that cleans up the other half of the problem or why it is my problem... In short, Brother tech support is on par with ComCast. Lets hope B&H comes through when they re-open. Brother hung up on me a second time... Done!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Used Brother printers for years. Never been disappointed I used a small B&W Brother printer/scanner/copier for 6 years for my home-based accounting business. Only ran about 500-1,000 copies/month. It was extremely reliable and toner cartridges were reasonably priced. It still works great, but wanted to move up to a color/duplex printer so purchased this one based on our good experience with three Brother MFC machines (different models from the one I just purchased) in the office at the construction company where I also work. We also have 5 or 6 smaller, Brother multi-function B&W units in the field at jobsites and they are extremely reliable and easy to set up and use. Less usage in the field (500 copies/month) than in the office (2,000-4,000 copies/month). I know other folks use off-brand toner cartridges, but we've always stuck with the more expensive Brother OEM high-capacity cartridges and the print quality and reliability of all of the multi-function units has remained excellent over the past 5 years of heavy use of all machines in the office and the field. The machines in the office are set up for wireless use by all office employees (12) and they work perfectly that way for everyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from the good and the not so bad and the ugly I hope this is published. It is 100% truthful. this will be a 2 stage review. the printer itself does what I wanted which is print sheets that don't run and ruin when wet. Its sort of large for home use but I knew that going in. large paper tray.doc feeder great, pics aren't so good but I knew that too. wireless excellent. All in all a 5 star machine. NOW : I thought this would be great Ink wise as the cartridges are huge. after 3 months of light use the black out warning came up. after 45 min on the cus help line, brother answered and sent me a link (how nice)the link said the factory cart is rated at 1000 copies. we made maybe 150.and many of those had color. It went on to say their rating system of 1000 copies is at 5% use per page.Who in the world prints pages with only 5% of the page printed. I got longer life out my little bitty HP cartridges. Its no secret that Ink is a rip off. But WOW these cartridges are pricey. I realize the replacement are rated higher output but I'm sorry its still deceptive. If the replacement cart only last twice as long (300)sheets I will be very, very, very upset. I ordered the larger blk cart so we will see. Maybe installed cart was short filled??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Out of the box, great printer for the money Followed the instructions and hooked it hardwired to our network. Drivers loaded quick and easy, found printer on the network at all stations seamlessly. First page comes out quick, lots faster than my HP Laserjet. Black text is very clean, but color pictures are a little grainy almost as if halftones were being used, but that was on plain paper. On laser photo paper, pics are much improved but still a little grainy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money and time I bought this printer specifically because of the straight-through paper path that is available by using the manual tray. I have a Canon laser printer that works amazingly but lacks that straight-through paper path that I need for printing on thicker paper stock and adhesive label paper to prevent curling of the paper. The manual tray only works maybe once out of every 40 attempts that I make. I have contacted B&H. They were unable/unwilling to assist and referred me to Brother. I have been going back and forth with Brother for months. Brother sent me a replacement (refurbished) printer of the same model that has the exact same problem. If there is paper in the manual tray it gives the error that there is a paper jam. Brother tells me that it must be that I am not putting the paper if the tray just right. But if it is so difficult---if the printer is so sensitive---that I cannot, after hours of trying and working with techs on the phone to get it right, it's just not worth it. 1 star seems generous.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MFC 9330CDW Small office with lots of color printing.Scanner works great. Overall a great purchase so far. Will have to see how the cartridges do long term.Biggest con is the size. if looking for a compact unit, this is not the one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy setup; quality output Easily connected to multiple wireless devices (iPad, Mac, PC, phone), for printing and scanning. Also use for copying and faxing. Software allows control from computer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ink prices reduced I bought the color laser to eliminate that nagging and continuing episode of the Ink Jet printer saying it had run out of basic black and I would now be printing black the three other colors (M,Y,C) mixed together, instead and using them up. Yeah... no. So, this was my get in front of the problem solution and it seems to work just dandy. I am still waiting for my first cartridge to empty.
