Provided the output on the wireless system is a XLR-F, this cable will work into the Sony HDR-CX 380.

question

Will this work with a Go Pro 3?
Asked by: Scott M.
Still need the Go Pro adapter (mini USB port to 3.5 mm stereo) plus it is XLR to mono 3.5 mm. The Go Pro 3 adapter is a stereo input, so to have both channels record, you would need to plug this mono 3.5 mm male to another adapter - female mono 3.5 mm to male stereo 3.5 mm. Otherwise, you would get audio out of one channel only.

question

will this work for playing audio off my phone into a mixer board for playing over speakers?
Asked by: Karlin M.
If you want to send audio out from your phone and into a mixer you want the XLR Male to 1/8 cable. This one is more for if you want to record a board feed or plug in a microphone. Also, this is a mono cable which would work fine, but for better sound over speakers you'd probably want a stereo one where it would be the 1/8 connector that then has two male XLR connectors.

question

Can I use this to record my countryman B6 into a Tascam DR-05 in my pocket? If not what is the right cable?
Asked by: Steve
I purchased the Tascam DR-05, however I got the shotgun microphone that came with the DR-05.. I will use the XLR 3 pin female for my other microphones.... to be honest I have not used the connector yet... however I'm sure it will work.
