Autodesk's Maya 2014 (NLM - Network Licensing) is an advanced 3D animation and modeling software with integrated animation, modeling, simulation, rendering, matchmoving, and compositing tools on an extensible CG pipeline core. Maya 2014 offers next-generation display technology, accelerated modeling workflows, and new tools for handling complex data.
One of the several new features is "Grease Pencil," which allows drawing directly in the Viewport to efficiently create simple cel animations. You can select different types of brushes, turn ghosting on and off at any time, and change the number of ghosts. Another feature, "Joint centering and symmetry," enables symmetrically drawing joints using the Joint tool. And new Paint Effects enhancements allow you to adjust how strokes react with geometry -- with surfaces, volumes, and each other. For example, you can have the top of a moving car smash into some branch leaves and have the leaves move away in proportion to the car's impact.
Maya 2014 is compatible with select versions of Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.
Note: This is the Network Licensing Management (NLM) edition and features unlimited licenses.
