You simply insert a 2.5" drive up to 9.5mm in height into the ventilated enclosure to build a portable hard drive. This device supports USB 3.0 connectivity and is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 connectivity.
The Express 2.5" Portable USB 3.0 Enclosure Kit includes a USB 3.0 cable and a carrying sleeve, and is compatible with systems running Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. Please be aware that USB bus power is only compatible when a USB 3.0 or 2.0 connection is utilized, and SSDs are only supported via USB 3.0.
