Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, Not Great;; Only Works With 12 This works well as a small travel-sized plug extender. The drawback is you can't use it outside the U.S. or anywhere that uses higher voltage electricity. All of my plug-in chargers can take up to 240 volts, but this item is only good for 120 volts. You won't see that on Belkin's site or on Amazon (where I bought mine) If I had realized this device can only handle 120 volts I would not have bought it. Wanted something that is more versatile and can be used for international travel. The other thing to know is that turning the plug portion to match up with the wall outlet is difficult and takes a lot of strength. If you have weak hands, this might not be for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I agree....very handy! I bought this a couple of years ago, and found it very handy to take on cruises to charge multiple devices at same time. Its compact and easy to carry. The USB ports are perfect for charging my global cell phone that requires a USB connection. The only issue I have is when staying in hotels overseas, and only 220V outlets available. I've read reviews on message boards - some that say its ok to plug into 220V, it only reduces the surge protection, and other reviews that say don't do it. I actually did plug it into a 220V outlet last year, using only an adapter for the plug, without any problems. Maybe got lucky? I am a little worried doing this, but my equipment is all rated for 220V, maybe only risking this device?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my configuration Bought this to get rid of a larger surge protector that did nothing for the appearance of my TV setup. Belkin gave me the three outlets that I needed without having to use a larger surge model. The Belkin has the added feature of being able to rotate, this allows the outlets to be positioned vertical or horizontal, plus there is USB for charging. We live in Tampa Bay area of Florida which is the lightning capital of the U.S. We have surge protectors on everything with Belkin being the brand providing the majority of my protection. Belkin surge protectors have never failed to protect and the fact they have so many models to chose from is a plus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would like dual voltage. I love this product and have taken in on many vacations and three deployments. Often, I'm only given access to on outlet and this thing is a life saver. The only issue I have is the fact that it's not rated for 100VAC - 240VAC when most of my devices already are. I did however plug it into 220VAC for about a week before I realized it's not dual voltage. It did get warm but kept on working. Such that I need to plug it into a step down transformer first. But I still love this thing and take it everywhere with me. Even bought a few for gifts

Rated 1 out of 5 by from how can you call 120v only device a "travel" item? had to check three websites to confirm (here in the review comments) that this is not for use with 220-240 outlets... which makes it useless for any of the travel I do. should list this clearly in the specifications, and/or add a model for world travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At Home Use and 3 Months Travel in Europe I bought this for home so that I could charge all my USB devices by my night stand. Later I brought it with me on an EPIC European tour. It held up to all kinds of craziness, 220V outlets, and more. What an amazing product! The swivel plug was a really good idea that made this product super flexible for me. Thank you product engineers for making a great product. I somewhat believe other users of the product do not know what they are talking about.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient and easy to use. This product is terrific. On board ship we only had one outlet to charge devices and limited space. The swivel plug was a life saver. It handled all our various device chargers. 2 improvements I would like to see are: accept dual voltage 120/240V and a 'fold in' plug.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very handy gadget I've had this product more than a year now. It's very convenient to have wherever you most often need to charge your devices, without loosing outlets. I think this would also be a great option while traveling. The socket does turn, which is convenient if you have a socket in a tight space. The only downside is that the device "wiggles" when you plug things in. I would totally recommend this, for travel, kitchen counters, bed-side tables and work stations (if you do not need more than 4 outlets.)
