The Digital Camo LensCoat for the Canon 200-400 IS f/4 offers your valuable equipment some protection from scrapes and bumps, preserving its resale value. Additionally, it helps break up the shape of your lens, making it less noticeable to wildlife. A small hole on the last segment lines up with the red dot indicator on your lens for quick mounting without removing the protective cover.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor compared to other coats lenses I own several other lens coats for other long lenses and have to say I'm very disappointed with the quality of this one, looks like they made it from a picture instead of an actual lens. The window for the AF selector switch section is half an inch too short, so you are left with either not being able to see what you are adjusting or not being able to see the focus selection window. The one over the focus ring itself is so wide that you cannot see what the zoom length selected is. ! The one for teleconverter section is also a joke -- the construction makes it impossible to throw the switch. They should have included a paste on piece for that section.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from so-so fit I am long term lenscoat user and the product for the Canon 200-400 lens only fits fair. First of all, I find the plastic windows over the switches annoying and end up removing them. It would be much nicer if Lenscoat left the windows open so I could easily move the switches. Secondly the lens coat seems designed to cover both parts of the lens which spin to focus or zoom. This inhibits motion. Perhaps I am dense and their instructions need to be improved. But bottom line I don't want to spend hours installing the lens coat, it should be easy and straight forward, not a challenge.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Close fit This is my first LensCoat purchase and although I will use it on my Canon 200-400 1.4x, I believe the fit could be better. It's expensive for what it is but there's no alternative as far as I know.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product as usual I like the lens coat products because the lens is easyer to manipulate (less slippery) and they add protection to them. I dont use all the protection sections, specially on the zoom ring and the one that covers the min and max focus switches. I will try the one covering the 1.4X switch before modifyng it or taking it off.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not quite what I expected I tried this on the Canon 200-400mm with the internal 1.4 TC. It's quite expensive for what it is. I didn't like the fact to operate the controls on the lens was awkward through the clear plastic covers. I sent it back and custom made my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great !! Fits first class and real save your expensive lens.Attention, when you also mount the coat over the zoom-ring so it can be sometimes not so easy to turn the zoom ring because the lenscoats brakes when it comes close together.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't last long Unfortunately, mine didn't last very long. Stitching was poor, size was poor (too short to cover the hood), the cover near the 1.4 switch only lasted a few weeks, etc. For something over $100 it was a very poor purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good cover for the money the cove fits well and should do a good job of helping protect the lens. Minor amount of trimming to get the fit. Having to get under the clear plastic windows to do adjustments is a nuisance.
