Blending a warming effect with the versatility of a polarizer, the LB Warming Circular Polarizer Filter from Singh-Ray is a unique filter featuring a "Lighter, Brighter" design that affords 0.6 stops more brightness than other circular polarizer filters. At its core, this filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. This results in a noticeable increase in the saturation of skies and foliage, as well as clearer imagery when photographing in hazy conditions. The warming effect then complements the increase in clarity and saturation by providing an even warm cast to subjects.
This filter features a 84mm-diameter sprocket mount for use with Cokin P filter holders. This design allows you to insert the filter in the slot closest to the lens for minimizing the amount of light between the filter and lens. The sprocket itself is constructed from plastic, while the 72mm-diameter filter substrate is constructed from optical glass.
