Singh-Ray 100 x 100mm Mor-Slo ND 10-Stop Filter
Key Features
  • Solid 3.0 Neutral Density Filter
  • Greater Control Over Exposures
  • Increase Exposure Length
  • Highly Polished Glass Construction
The Singh-Ray 100 x 100mm Mor-Slo ND 10-Stop Filter is a solid neutral density filter providing an exposure reduction of about 10 stops. This 3.0 optical density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Mor-Slo filters are especially adept at maintaining neutral color fidelity and minimizing color casts that are inherent to such strong densities; however, a slight warming of the image can be expected due to the exaggerated exposure length needed to compensate for the 3.0 density.

Singh-Ray Mor-Slo Reviews

The best filters you can buy!

I've been a Singh-Ray fan for some time. Yes, they are expensive, but they really are worth it. I had recently moved from screw-on adapters to a Z-Pro filter holder and wanted to get a 10-stop ND filter for my trip to Australia and New Zealand. I've tested other brands before but they just never lived up to the image quality I got from my Singh-Ray's and since this was a once in lifetime trip, the investment was worth it. So many ND's desaturate the colors, but not the Singh-Ray. It the perfect all around ND and a great tool to add to your kit.

This filter is amazing. I was eying this filter for 3 months. I was originally hesitant to buy it because of the high price. When I finally decided to buy it, I was eager to try it out. So far I have absolutely no complaints. I've taken images of up to 90-second exposures and I have seen no visible colorcast and the images looked crystal clear. I've stacked it with various Lee ND grads, and Singh Ray's reverse grad and have gotten some amazing results. The filter slides into my Lee holder easily and the gasket prevents light leakage. Note - the filter is made to slide in one way. If you slide it in the wrong way, you can potentially damage the casket. The filter is pricey because its hand crafted, not pulled from a mass-produced inventory. If you can afford it, I highly recommend it. It's a great filter and better than some of the other 10 stops I've used.

This filter works extremely well. There is very little colour cast on the image. Only a slight warming on exposures over 2 minutes. The gasket is large and soft, so it slides into a Lee holder easily and there is no light leakage.
