With 2600 lumens and an 8000:1 contrast ratio, the Panasonic PT-CW240U Ultra-Short Throw 1-Chip DLP Projector possesses the image power to project vivid, pictures in a variety of lighting situations. The ultra-short throw projector allows you to project images onto a large 80" screen with a short projection distance of 2', and is newly equipped with an interactive function.
The projector has an image Wall Color Setting, which provides correction when projecting onto a blackboard and/or wall. The 3D projection capability makes events and exhibitions more effective, providing a new range of application. These projectors are especially effective in schools and businesses.
Note: The maximum value when the lamp power is set to Eco mode & turned on is for 2 hours or when off is for 0.25 hours. If the lamp is turned on more times or kept on for a long time, the lamp replacement cycle will shorten. In Normal mode, the lamp replacement cycle is 3,500 hours. The usage environment affects the duration of the lamp.
The projector allows image projection onto a wide 80" screen with a short projection distance of 2'. This ultra-short throw projector can be wall-mounted with a wall mount bracket (ET-PKC200W / sold separately). Also, it does not allow the presenter's shadow or glare of the projection light to fall on the screen.
The high brightness of 2600 lumen ensures bright and easy-to-see image projection. It is highly effective for lessons and presentations in classrooms and meeting rooms.
During RGB signal input, lamp power is normal.
The projector delivers 3D images with a reproduction apparatus and you can enjoy it with the 3D glasses. The combination of this system with the short-throw function enables space-saving 3D projection, helping you create enhanced and attractive presentations.
Note: To view 3D images, DLP Link active-shutter 3D glasses are required (sold separately). In the active shutter system, the right / left liquid crystal shutter is opened and closed alternately according to projected images. The active-shutter 3D glasses with refresh rate of 96 to 144 Hz are recommended. 3D images of 60 Hz can also be viewed by a 120 Hz compatible device.
3D System Support
The HDMI input terminal supports 3D. You can connect a 3D Blu-ray player to the projector to project Blu-ray 3D images. As synchronized signals are contained between the frames (images) for the left and right eyes, you can build a 3D system without the need for the optional emitter. It also supports frame packing, side-by-side, top-and-bottom, and frame sequential method.
Configuration: 3D Contents + Reproduction apparatus + 3D Glasses (DLP Link system)
In the DLP system, the image quality does not degrade with time due to long life of the device. You can use the projector for various systems over a long period without the worry of quality loss.
24 hours continuous operation is not available.
