CyberPower's PFC Sinewave UPS system with pure sine wave output solves the issue of non-sine wave UPS products working with computing systems using Active PFC power supplies (ENERGY STAR 5.0). This UPS ensures equipment utilizing Active PFC power supplies that do not unexpectedly shutdown or experience harmful stress when switching from AC power to UPS battery power.

Lastly, the multi-function LCD panel displays real-time UPS vitals for ease of control.

PFC Sinewave UPS System

A battery backup that adapts to multiple applications and requirements -- from home/office use to enterprise environments. The UPS system provides pure sine wave protection for computer systems, networking hardware, servers, home theater equipment, telecom systems and other sensitive electronics with Active PFC or conventional power supplies. With pure sine wave output, the UPS system solves the incompatibility issues experienced when a non-sine wave UPS is attached to equipment using Active PFC power supplies by providing continuous power output-preventing unexpected shutdowns or damaging stress when switching from AC to UPS battery power

Transformer-Spaced Outlets

Widely-spaced outlets accommodate large transformer-based plugs without compromising the utility of other outlets

EMI/RFI Filters

Filters against electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference ensuring clean power for connected equipment

Resettable Circuit Breaker

Reset switch in case of an overload

Audible Alarms

Distinctive tones identify when the unit is running on battery power, if it is overloaded, or when the battery is low

Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)

AVR technology stabilizes the AC voltage and maintains a safe voltage level without switching to battery-mode. This conserves battery life, and delivers cleaner AC power to connected equipment

LCD Diagnostic Display

The front white LCD panel displays UPS vitals: input voltage level, output voltage level, automatic voltage regulator, battery capacity, energy-saving bypass mode, runtime estimate, load level, output frequency, on battery, overload, fault condition, event logging, and silent mode

Function Controls

Shutdown options, selectable battery backup voltage sensitivity, display and alarm options, self test and more

Quiet UPS

Advanced efficiency design (reduced fan operation), high-end system components, and GreenPower UPS technology help minimize sound emissions

USB Charger

Two (2) 5 VDC USB 2.0 charging ports located on the front panel for convenient access to charge portable electronic device such as mobile phones, MP3 players, and cameras

USB Connectivity

HID compliant USB port enables full integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows, Linux and Mac OS X

Tamper-Proof Power Button

The power button has been specifically designed to minimize the chance the UPS can be turned off or interfered with by accident

Reduce Energy Costs & Heat Loss

This ENERGY STAR qualified UPS system utilizes patented GreenPower UPS bypass circuitry to save on energy costs by reducing energy consumption and heat buildup. Users can save up to 75% when compared to competitive models

PowerPanel Personal Edition

In the event of a power outage, PowerPanel PE saves open files and hibernates the PC to increase the run-time on the UPS unit. PowerPanel is easily installed on any Windows-based PC and uses minimal system resources. Diagnostic screens display the status of the UPS, including silent operation mode, configurable system notifications, automatic self tests, adjustable high/low voltage warnings, event/data logging, and scheduled shutdowns

ISO & Safety Certifications

The UPS system is certified by the FCC, cUL, and UL

Windows Compatibility

The PowerPanel power management software has been fully tested and is compatible with Windows 8 32/64, Windows 7 32/64, Vista 32/64, XP 32/64, 2000, 2003, Server 2008 and Server 2012

Great Sinewave UPS

Purchased two of these and both arrived quickly and safely. I appreciate them having both types of USB ports on the front, available when needed. Both operate properly right out of the box. Just make sure to pay attention to the label on the top of the unit so it will power on. I charged before use, but they were already at 90% capacity out of the box. I own several CyberPower UPS products and have always been happy with their quality and battery life. Contacting support is quick and easy.

Works great, one Dell PowerEdge R710 and Network

I picked this model because of great reviews online, and they said this unit does true sinewave instead of simulated. Sounds like a good feature. I have a Dell R710 with 6 spinning hard drives, A CenturyLink Modem, Netgear R7000 Wifi router, and a Netgear 8 port gig switch. The CyberPower reports 200watts are used under lite conditions and reports 310watts used when I am encoding in handbrake. This gives me 40mins of battery at idle and 20mins under load (reported by unit, untested in real life). My Ubuntu recognized the battery backups when I plugged in the USB cable to the back of the R710. The default setting is for the server to suspend after 20mins of battery usage. I like all the options for the display. Seems like a great UPS option for small setups.

Great so far

I got this for my new Threadripper 3970x workstation running an RTX 2080ti, 128GB RAM and 1000watt Enermax PSU. According to the specs it can handle this load for a short time. I haven't had a power outage yet but so far it seems to be working great. I chose CyberPower because I already have 3 of another CyberPower UPS model in use for 6 years and I have been happy with them, though the batteries all died and had to be replaced.

I had a bolt of lightning hit my transformer that supplied my home. I encountered 38K worth of damage. The only thing that didn't get destroyed was items connected to a UPS back ups system. This is the best as it gets for my needs. I highly recommend getting this or make sure all your electronics are insured with replacement value. Well worth the investment.. Thanks B&H.. Quick shipping as always. B&H is my GO TO marketplace. I wish they would continue to diversify into other products even more than what they have no..

thank you

Asked by: Anonymous
If you wanted to swap the battery with the unit working you would end up with sparks, (danger) AND POSSIBLY a computer drive in trouble or bad. An expert might be able to swap the battery depending on what the end toy you wanted to use it for. But don't you try. Bill

Can you use a short extender on the outlet on the back of the UPS so that a wider external hard drive plug does not cause you to overlap the outlet beside it?
Asked by: Dale
Yes. Short extenders work just fine.

Is it a good idea to unplug the UPS and let the battery do its thing every few months?
Asked by: Ruben G.
UPS uses lead acit batteries, AGM type. Discharging them unnecessarily is of no benefit to their longevity. Keeping them charged is a benefit.
