CyberPower's CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS System has a capacity of 1500VA/900W, ten (10) NEMA 5-15R receptacles and two (2) maintenance-free, user-replaceable 12V/8.5AH batteries. It offers connectivity via one (1) HID USB and one (1) DB9 serial ports. Protection for phone/network (RJ-11/RJ-45) and cable/coax (RG-6) is also included.

CyberPower's PFC Sinewave UPS system with pure sine wave output solves the issue of non-sine wave UPS products working with computing systems using Active PFC power supplies (ENERGY STAR 5.0). This UPS ensures equipment utilizing Active PFC power supplies that do not unexpectedly shutdown or experience harmful stress when switching from AC power to UPS battery power.

Lastly, the multi-function LCD panel displays real-time UPS vitals for ease of control.

CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS System is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 102.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not just for protecting electronics from power surge While I have my computer connected to this UPS system, I occasionally take it with me to where I do not have access to power outlets. I have used this on a beach to power my (300WS output) strobe (for photography), I have used it to power my scanner (to scan a model's driver license for model release), and have even used it once on a camping/photography trip to run a CFL bulb in my tent (and to charge my camera batteries). While it is heavy to be carrying around, for an occasional short-time use it is an awesome source of AC power out in the field. And at home, when it is used as a UPS, it is ultra quiet. This unit does what it is meant for and then some.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best UPS I have owned I have owned multiple 1500VA UPS systems and I can say that the CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS System is the best engineered UPS for the price. The the unit runs quiet, the multifunction display is great and it works seamlessly with my Mac (no additional software required). But the best feature is the ability to disable the alarm by pressing a button on the front panel. You would think every UPS manufacturer would include this functionality, but sadly they don't. Less than a week after installing it, I had a brief power outage caused by a storm and the unit worked perfectly. I am so satisfied with this UPS that I will be buying a second unit for my entertainment system.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from CP1500PFCLCD This series works on modern PC's (with active PFC power supplies), and this model can keep my i5 computer and two 23 monitors running for about an hour of normal usage! I like the fact that it is a 'plug an play' unit - you don't have to install any software to make the computer recognize the battery. And yes, the USB charging ports DO continue to work when the unit switches to battery power. The cons: 1) The communication surge protection ports are simply labeled IN and OUT, so I have to actually read the manual to make sure I'm getting it right. 2) A telephone cable is included as an accessory, which we will never use. I think they should include a network cable instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not very long-lived My first unit worked fine for about 5.5 years but then displayed fault code F03. When I contacted the company's support team, the support rep informed me that the code indicates an issue with the circuit board--an issue he said is not fixable. Knowing that the lifespan of the battery was 3-5 years, I was expecting to hear that the battery needed to be replaced, not that the entire unit was rendered useless. I am on my second unit. If this one fails that soon as well, I will be researching other UPS manufacturers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as expected I'm probably your average consumer when it comes to a UPS system but I'm just educated enough to know I need clean power to protect expensive electronic equipment and this item's specs fit that bill. I'm using it with a late 2015 iMac decked out with 3tb fusion drive, 64GB upgrade RAM, an external thunderbolt monitor and a 10TB dual WD black external drive enclosure - all plugged into the Sinewave controlled outlets on this UPS. The handy LCD on the front indicates I'm using 189 watts to surf the net which would give me about 33-36 minutes to shut down if the power went out - more than enough for a graceful shutdown.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have the power When my APC back-up battery died, I was faced with the choice of buying an overpriced replacement battery for my existing unit or upgrading my battery backup solution with one that offers sine wave protection. B&H's Deal of the Day made my choice very easy. I purchased this CyberPower unit based on the many positive reviews and so far I've been very satisfied. I prefer the vertical format to my previous backup because it provides more space under my desk and also prevents me from accidentally powering off the unit (something that I had done on multiple occasions with my APC). I love the display on the CyberPower system and thoughtful features like the ability to mute the sound or plug in USB devices to charge in an emergency.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Strong acrid chemical odor, unusable There was a horrible odor when I opened the box, like a mixture of shoe polish and gasoline. It's extremely difficult to be around (and I'm concerned about my health). I saw from other reviews that some other people had the same problem but it wasn't clear if it would go away. After two weeks of it not improving, I finally put it in the garage and am looking into a refund or exchange. Otherwise, mechanically, the unit seems very nice and works very well.
