The TeachLogic TG-912 LAP Tour Guide System comes with a Body-Pack transmitter (UT-96BP) with Lapel Microphone, 11 Body-Pack receivers (UR-96BP) with ear speakers (ES-100), 12 slot drop-in battery charger (BRC-712), and rechargeable NiMH batteries (Duracell, 12 sets).
This system is suitable for walking tours or any noisy environment that makes hearing difficult. An unlimited number of UR-96BP receivers can be added to the system. The system includes a carrying case for all the receivers/transmitter that has built-in charging ports for the rechargeable batteries.
The Bodypack Transmitter sends a composite voice and RF (UHF) signal to the receiver. It is usually worn on the waistband with an external microphone plugged in for vocal input. Reliable connectivity is assured in excess of 200‘ (60.96m). This transmitter requires 2 AA batteries for 6 to 8 hours of continuous transmission.
The LM-835 Lapel Microphone comes with a spring clip for securing it on to a clothing edge. This capsule microphone renders good quality vocal reproduction. The lapel microphone is less obtrusive and least visible. However, due to the greater distance from the mouth to microphone, it will require additional gain. As a result, it is more prone to feedback. So adjustment of volume is more critical, especially near or under a speaker.
The UR-96BP is a portable, battery-powered, UHF receiver (96-channel selectable) with an earphone and line level out. It is suitable for monitoring signal transmission or inserting a line level signal into a sound system. It can be used for receiving a wireless signal to insert into self-powered speakers. Additionally, it can also be used for personal listening and guided tour systems, and is 100% compatible with our RF transmitters, Titan, and AirLink systems. This receiver comes with ear speakers (ES-100).
