Leather Wrist Strap (Black) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality Admittedly, many Leica products are over-priced. However, in may aspects, the feel and build of those over-priced products are exemplary. These wrist-straps are no different from that mindset. I have no problem paying a little extra as long as I know that I will not need to purchase a replacement for many years (indeed, if ever). These wrist-straps seem to fall in the latter category as their build and feel are substantial enough to last many years. For that, I'm willing to pay the premium and get on with taking the best shots I can knowing that if I have butterfingers, these straps will counter-balance my clumsiness! Recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A camera in the hand is worth more than one on the shoulder I have used wrist straps much more than the conventional camera strap method over many years of enjoying photography I found it made more sense to have the camera in hand and use a small belt / shoulder bag for when you need to have more than one lens available. It is also less vulnerable to a snatch & grab in a crowd scenario. Leica's Leather version is pricey but you get what you pay for. I'm using it on my Panasonic GX8 coupled with their excellent 14-140 mm lens. The quality of leather used is excellent and is easy on the wrist. It is a great option for the M43, Fuji X-Pro and Leica size bodies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy strap! This is a nice looking strap. The leather finish and stitching compliments the half case protector. I removed (cut off) the protective flap around the split ring for the strap to fit with the camera case. It looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I am using this on a Leica Q. Great size, big enough to be robust but slender enough to not dominate the combo of camera and strap. I got the black color. The white stitching is a nice touch. Very attractive and sturdy. The ring that goes on the actors is larger than those on the original strap so it is easier to get on and off if you want to switch to a neck strap. Certainly not a quick connect but I usually decide what I am going with for the day before I leave - wrist strap if I'm taking a bag or neck strap if I'm just taking the camera - so swapping it out is no big deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy and works great on M cameras I had the strap for the X1/X2 camera, and it was pretty wimpy. This strap is much stronger and much more elegant. It's a shame they're marketing it for the X Vario, as I think it's perfect for the M cameras. The color matches my Billingham bag perfectly as well. Very nice product. I'm using it on a black M7 and it's great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the price, simply oozes quali I needed a wrist strap for y Leica D Lux type 109 and purchased the wrist strap designed for the X and M series because it was cheaper and also had the protective pad to prevent the ring touching the body. I have been delighted with the strap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classy I've attached this camera to my Leica M6 Panda, it suits the colours of the camera very nicely and feels strong and long lasting. What I really like about this is that the camera feels like it is part of my hand, free from the constraints and clumsiness of a neck strap. I only give it four stars because for the money I was expecting it to be a lot softer, it's leather feels hard and somewhat rough. It also took me three attempts to get on as it didn't come with any instructions. -Instructions- 1. Angle strap so that the hand hole is below the camera. 2. Push the small puncture hole at the top of the strap onto the right sided mount. 3. Using pliers or another tool, pry the mounting ring open slightly and rotate around the mount without rotating the strap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leica Strap I took normal neck strap off my Nikon D4 because when I had it on I couldn't see the details on the back of the camera! I'm 46 and my eyes don't work at close distance anymore! Strap was not long enough. If you are over 40 maybe you know what I mean. Anyway, I didn't feel comfortable with not having a strap, tried a few things but decided a wrist strap might do. I like this Leica one because it is sturdy but not really big and fat. It looks nice/stylish and I feel a bit safer about potentially dropping camera. I do portraits and mountain bike photography. I like that I can stuff the d4 in a backpack and it's easy to get out quickly without the long strap getting caught on things. This little strap actually helps pull it out. It's not perfect all the time but it has stayed on my camera for a month...it must suit me better than the other things I had.
