    Metabones MB_C-M43-CH3 reviews

C-Mount Lens to Micro Four Thirds Lens Mount Adapter (Chrome) is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from To Infinity -- but, not beyond ... I use this adapter to mount a Kern-Paillard Switar AR 25mm f/1.4 cine lens for 16mm Bolex on an Olympus E-PL2. After days of scanning online forums (for the rare valid point made by somebody who is not an obvious fanboy) and inconclusive reviews, I chose this Metabones adapter, because I wanted a degree of certainty that I would have infinity focus (which it does) and, that the focusing and aperture indices would be oriented correctly (which they are). This newer version has two handles, making mounting/unmounting more ergonomic (the fit is quite snug). Dear Metabones: could we have one in black, please?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 15-150 Angenieux for BMPCC Bought this plate to mount the lens on a Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera. Finish is beautiful and when the lens is threaded on the plate the focus scale is on the side of the lens as was intended. Still waiting for the Pocket, so I tested on a GH3 and the plate fit perfectly. The only thing that I wonder about is the shiny silver surface on the side of the plate facing the sensor, wouldn't matte black have cut down on reflections?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Adapter for our Vintage C Mount's! This has to be one of the best adapters around after the Cieco7 one. Forget those cheap tinny Chinese rubbish, get one of these!I love the build quality and the WIDE recess which allows many C Mount lenses to fit in better.Only issue is AVAILABILITY which is poor Metabones!C'mon, there is a demand for this adapter, get them made!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made product Allows standard c-mount eyepieces to be attached to micro four thirds camera. Great shots down a microscope, or up a telescope. Much higher resolution than when using the microscopes own built in digital camera. This aluminium adapter is so much better made than the cheap plastic ones on e-@with no fear that a bit will snap off and damage my cameras sensor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware BMPCC Unfortunately, the one I got doesn't work on the BMPCC I have. I contacted metabones and they said they were aware of the problem. Only certain versions of this work with the BMPCC. They made it really difficult to return and wanted me to pay for shipping to China. I ended up buying a cheap plastic one on @ for a fraction of the price and it works great. Now I have this one and it's unusable. Horrible customer service. It really made me think twice about metabones in general. They are selling a product they know doesn't work with all MFT cameras and making it really difficult to return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from bmpcc w/ switar 10f1.6 non-rx infinity+ The switar 10mm f1.6 non-rx will not reach infinity using cheap c-mount to m4/3 adapters. The metabones though pricey sets the switar deeper into the camera and very slightly closer to the sensor allowing you to focus to infinity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best C-Mount on M4/3 adapter!! I find that when I have used those thin cheap Chinese made adapters, I can still have infinity focus issues, but with this well made solid adapter, because the recess is angled, I can get my lens a wee bit more closer to the sensor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from get what you pay for Sometimes you just have to pay for what you want and in this case I wanted infinity focus on my Kowa 6mm for my BMPCC and this did the trick. There are other dirt cheap chinese brands that can't achieve infinity focus because it is not deep enough to the sensor but this seemed to work out. I gave it 4 stars because the price is ridiculously high.
