Sony needs to make a much higher power density battery in this form factor. This battery like many already indicated... very short battery life and one would need more than a handful to be able to go through a half a day worth of shooting.

I used aftermarket options for my Rx100 IV, and none of these third-party batteries are as good as the original. The charger is compact and does what it's supposed to. Great products.

Not sure if blaming the battery is fair. But the RX100 really needs a bigger battery than this. It is so silly to put these tiny batteries in cameras so manufacturers can show lighter weight and smaller bodies. Then you end up having to carry 5 batteries in your pocket to get through a day.
