GOAL ZERO Yeti 150 Overview

Whether you are in the woods, on the jobsite, or dealing with a power outage, the Yeti 1250 Solar Generator Power Pack Kit from GoalZero is a solid choice to power your small electronics. This power pack is an environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional back-up generators. It utilizes a 1200Wh AGM lead acid battery that can charge devices from smart phones and laptops, to televisions and small refrigerators. Since it uses a deep cycle battery, it works without noise and produces no exhaust. The Yeti can be charged from 110 VAC house current, 12 VDC car/vehicle power or from compatible GoalZero solar panels.

The front display panel provides readouts of incoming and outgoing power, and battery status in 20% increments. This real-time feedback enables precise power management. The Yeti provides an array of output options for any energy need. It has three standard 110 VAC grounded wall plugs, three standard USB ports, a 12 VDC car/vehicle port and two 6mm 12 VDC plug ports. For additional battery power, the Yeti is chainable with other units. The battery is removable, so it can be upgraded or replaced as needed.

Included in This Kit Are Two Boulder 30 Solar Panels. These Panels Feature Sturdy Aluminum Construction and Scratch-Resistant Tempered Glass for Durability. Under Ideal Sun Conditions, Each Panel Can Produce up to 30W of Power. These Panels will Fully Charge the Batteries in Approximately 40 to 80 Hours of Sunlight.

question

How long is the batteries life expectancy? If I leave it in the garage and only charge it before a camping trip a few times a year, am I expected to get the same results as if I maintained the battery regularly? How many full cycles is the battery expected to reach?
Asked by: Mason B.
500-800 LIfecycles. Goal Zero recommends keeping it plugged in to the wall or being kept charged with the solar panels when not in use or at minimum plugging in for a full charge once every 3 months to extend the life and health of the battery.

question

can i use an air conditioner?
Asked by: Anonymous
It would really all depend on the voltage of your Air Conditioner. Most likely not. I would contact GOAL ZERO directly, and ask them. Make sure you tell them what model air conditioner you have, and the voltage of it. GOAL ZERO Tel: (888) 794-6250
