FLIR T50 overview

  • 1Description

The ThermoSight T50 320x240 Thermal Weapon Sight from FLIR is a multi-purpose optic equally-suited for targeting and handheld viewing. Using its built-in Picatinny mount, this thermal imaging device can be rail-mounted for tactical engagement in daylight or pitch dark. Thanks to boresight retention capability, the T50 will reliably hold zero and can easily be paired with a day optic or reflex sight without re-zeroing.

FLIR's image processor and user-friendly button layout puts a range of tools for image optimization at the operator's fingertips. Dedicated buttons for polarity selection, scene calibration (NUC), and digital zoom helps to enable intuitive control of the ThermoSight system functions without navigating a menu. Automatic and manual brightness, contrast, and image enhancement offers additional image adjustments. The NTSC video output allows operators to monitor and record the transmitted image in real-time.

Additional construction features like a weather-sealed housing that is water-tight to a depth of 60 ft, a shutter-less optical design that delivers near-silent operation, and rubber eyepiece shroud that minimizes light splash make the ThermoSight T50 a full-featured thermal monocular for a broad range of tactical operations.
