The white Distributed Dimming Series ES750 Electronic Silent Dimmer from ETC comes with a plug that allows it to attach to any fixture up to 750W for onboard distributed power control. It comes equipped with a power input and output to an EDISON connector, and can serve as a remote dimmer for any application.

The ES750 is designed with ETC’s advanced ES (Electronic Silent) power-control technology for completely noise-free operation. Working without fans or filament buzz, the dimmer produces noise levels of 0 dBA at 1m, thereby making it a suitable power-control solution for acoustically sensitive venues. You can outfit your entire rig with ES750 dimmers without interrupting the sound on stage.

Using the ES technology and a convection-cooled design, this high-performance dimmer can be used with any 750W or less tungsten fixture. By directly taking DMX control signals, this self-dimming tungsten fixture can reside alongside LEDs and moving lights, thereby allowing system designs to focus on switched power and data distribution instead of centralized dimming systems. Attaching an ES750 dimmer to your fixtures brings your rig the brightness and quality of light that tungsten can provide, while working seamlessly alongside your LED luminaires. Run both fixture types at the same time by sending simple switched power to all of your lighting positions. Control ES750 dimmers, LEDs, and moving lights with your existing data network. The ES750 features onboard controls for local operation and RDM for remote setup. It also offers the ability to set DMX addresses, change curves, and receive status information. With the ES750 dimmer, your venue is more flexible with an infrastructure that can adapt to new requirements and layouts.

Applications

Applications requiring distributed dimming and position flexibility:
- Theaters
- Hybrid incandescent LED and discharge systems
- Industrial productions
- Rentals
- Conference and exhibition centers
- Multi-use venues such as schools and meeting rooms

ES Dimming Technology

Produces no lamp noise (exceeds all rise time specs)
Electronics sound-pressure level less than 0 dBA at 1m
Convection-cooled

Mount Brackets

Yoke-mount and pipe-mount brackets included, direct mounting on a fixture yoke or to a pipe in multiple orientations to accommodate maximum flexibility (C-Clamps sold separately)

Local Operation
