General Brand 52-67 reviews

52-67mm Step-Up Ring is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Threads Worthless. I purchased 4 General Brand step-up and step-down rings here at B&H, all of which were branded BOWER, and all of then are terrible. These DO NOT FIT Nikon lens threads. It is like putting a square peg in a round hole. You will not like these on Nikon lenses. Buy something else. I would encourage B&W to find some other brand for their 'General Brand', because I know of some out there that are just as cheap that fit perfectly. I would not buy anything else again with the BOWER brand name, and I will be reluctant to purchase anything called General Brand on B&H again based on these. These are a total waste of money. I am having to replace them with something else that actually fits.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saves a lot of money on filters A very simple device that lets me use my 67mm circular polarizing filter on another lens that accepts 52mm filters. I actually have 2 of these so my 67mm polarizer works on 3 different lenses. Why buy another polarizer for $150+ ? Gave it 5 stars ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it is what it is There isn't really too much to say about this step-up ring. Good price, good quality, and it does what it's supposed to do. I guess you could spend more on an identical product, but I'm just an amateur, and wouldn't need to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great way to maximize lens Using this step up ring lets me use my 67mm filters on my 52 mm wide angle lens so I don't have to duplicate filter purchases. Saves a bunch of money. Works great. No problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works just as you'd expect This is a simple little piece of eq that works just like it should. General Brand is good for this sort of thing and can be a lot less expensive when you start adding up the cost of tiny pieces of gear. I use it so that all my lenses have the same filter ring size. That way I can just have one set of them for all my lenses. It also protects the filter ring from bending should some miscreant drop your lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does the job It does the job. i did not want to spend much just on a metal ring which does not add any value to the photo. This allows me to use my existing filters with the new lens. Otherwise I will have to buy another set of filters, and further when the lenses are upgraded, I will need to change the filters too. This helps me to SAVE a lot and it DOES THE JOB perfectly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gets Job Done Unless constant change of filter/adapter (This brand is not the smoothest and gets stuck sometimes, hence price), this product provides its intended use in a low cost manner. My purchase was to use in conjunction with other adapters (62-67) and epoxy as to provide step for a Nikon F-mount (BR-2).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I've been hiking all over North Carolina photographing waterfalls and had no problems with this step up ring. It stayed secure and would easily remove when I needed it to. Thanks to this step up ring I didn't have to buy extra filters which saved me a lot of money. It's very well worth the money.
