Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value These rings (I got the 67mm-to-77mm and the 58mm-to-77mm) ... are not General Brand they are in fact Bower rings and on the box it says Lifetime Guarantee although I have no idea if that actually means anything. The build quality is good but not great; considering how cheap they are ($ bucks as compared to a Tiffen ring which is $32 dollars) I think they hold their own in terms of durability. They attach firmly at both ends and do what they're supposed to do. Note that when they are on you will not be able to use a typical lens cap and most lens hoods won't work either. Other than those 2 caveats these are a terrific value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does its job Purchased this step-up ring so that I didn't need to purchase different size of special filters for each lenses (special filters such as: circular polarizer, netural density, graduated neutral density, etc). This product works as advertised, but one may have to take a minute to carefully align the filter/lens with this adapter or it may not screw on properly and fall off. Once tightly secured, it stays on pretty tightly. Once finished, one may find difficult at times to actually remove the adapter/filter. Overall, I gave this product 5 stars, because it does its job and I'm happy to have saved money from not buying multiple filters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good price, works no problem if you own 77mm(diameter) lenses and collection of 77mm filters but you purchased a lens has 67mm dia, it won't fit to your lens... there is several options available: 1.Buy 67mm filter(best) 2.or just tape 77mm filter to 67mm lens.(good) 3.or buy this product.(better) much lower cost than option 1, much secure than option 2. this ring is nicely made with matt-finish(avoid internal reflection between ring and filter),thread is curved smoothly. No problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from May pop off. This does what it says and what you need it to do BUT - Occassionally I can just lift off the 77mm Fader ND filter I use with it, and the ND and the step-up ring pop off. Even when securely tightened. If it had some extra threads on it it would be perfect. Grab a wrench, you'll be a little worried your fader will pop off so you'll tighten it pretty good and it might get tough to remove your filter attached.I use it mostly with the Tamrom 17-50mm so it MAY be Tamrons lens, but I doubt it because it gets tight (by hitting the step up ring) so its just a lack of slack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low cost way to adapt 77mm filters I was considering purchasing a matte box to use as a filter holder for my DSLR rig but decided it was too bulky, and too difficult to use with zoom lenses. By purchasing 77mm filters (my largest thread size) and adapter rings which I leave on the rest of my smaller lenses, I have a set of filters that will go onto any lens in my kit. And it's not as bulky as a matte box. And certainly not as expensive! The rings don't seem super tough but so far so good. And they're cheap enough that they're easy to replace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does its job Built well enough, easy threading and light weight. Not much to say, it just works.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, effective and economical I have a 77mm Circular Polarizer that fits on my largest lenses, and I needed one for my Canon 70-200mm f/4 as well. Instead of spending big bucks for a new filter, this adapter works perfectly. My only complaint is that it is not made to the best of standards, and the threads do not look like they will hold up forever. But so far, it's worked great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gets the job Done General Brand step up ring works perfectly. Mounts tightly and securely. Only slightly less solid feel than much more expensive counterparts. The only difference you'll notice is the lack of branding and more dollars in your pocket!
