Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it does I used this product to connect my Letus Extreme with HVX200A Optimization to my Panasonic HPX170. Because of the ring size difference between the HVX200A and the HPX170, I HAD to have this little ring. The size of the ring did not alter the focus for the Letus system at all and works just like it's supposed to. Pros: Does what it is supposed to. Connects an accessory that requires an 82mm thread to a 72mm camera thread. Cons: Kind of cheap in build quality. It'll scratch or flake when you rub it against something and it feels too light. Hard to screw on at first sometimes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works FINE This was the cheaper alternative to the pricey step-down ring and it's FINE. made of metal - threads work. What more would you want???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Step-Up Rings My largest/most popular lens is 82mm & I've spent a lot of money getting filters for it. So I have purchased the filter step-up rings for all my other lenses so I can use the same filters with all of them-definitely justifing the cost of the filters themselves. The step-up rings are so easy to use & having them for all my lenses means that I do not have to carry or purchase the same filters over and over again for each individual lens that I own & I do not have to store a ton of filters while not in use. The step-up rings are cool little tools!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what it is Nothing special, and it shouldn't be. It's only a step up ring. But it gets the job done well, and I don't ever feel like it's gonna break. I got it to step up so I can add a DIY ring light and it's working fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly constructed Title pretty much explains it. I would opt to buy a little more expensive one, if I could do it again. The threads chip off when using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Product I have 82mm filters but not all my lenses are all 82mm in diameters. So I bought this product so I can use it to the lenses below 82mm. It saves me more money because I am not buying filters below 82mm anymore and when I travel saves me lots of space. This is cheap product that aids my expensive filters and the result is great. Very efficient!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap Price, Cheap Build I use this as a step up ring for a circular polarizer and an ND Filter. I'm not happy with this ring at all. It cross threads super easily and is so hard to get a firm mount with. Spend the extra bucks and get the B+W step up ring. You don't want to cross thread your filter mounts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap It was defective (bad threads) which I half expected, got one for 3 or 4 times as much. Now I won't be worried about it locking up on a good filter.
