Rat chewed my other one while using for night time lapse, very strange... like the coil length easy to use.

question

I forgot to add this cable to my Genie order, but I have some cables laying around that look exactly the same. Can anyone tell me how the wiring is done ? Maybe check it with a ohm-meter ? The 2.5mm jack Ground / Middle / Tip go to ... which pins on the camera plug? The way I look there's a notch > top pin hole / bottom left pin hole/ bottom right pin hole - ) curved right side Thanks !
Asked by: Markus K
It is our experience that as long as the purpose is the same, such as tripping the shutter, the wiring of the cables is the same amongst all the manufacturer's.

question

Is it compatible with Canon G7X II?
Asked by: Alexander S.
The 3C won't work with a GX7 II - it only seems possible to fire the shutter remotely with a wireless control. You can however still use the Genie and Genie Mini for video moves by setting up the move, pressing record on the camera and then start on the Genie/App. Thanks!
