SanDisk 32GB Reviews

32GB Extreme Plus UHS-I SDHC Memory Card (Class 10) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 180.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shoot all Day I have 2 of these cards in my D600 and I also used them in my other cameras. I've never had a problem with any SanDisk card locking up etc. which I can't say of other brands I've used in the past. I'd highly recommend them. You may not need 32 GB but I love it, especially if you RAW or shoot some video, it's nice to have the extra GB's. I've found it to be plenty fast for shooting in continuous shutter mode and also for downloading to the computer. A great bang for the buck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faster than my other cards I'm a photographer as a hobbyist. I normally take landscape pictures so my card doesn't have to be real fast. I was in Santa Cruz,CA, while a surfing competitions was going on, and noticed my camera had to wait to write to the card on multiple continuous shots. I knew it was the card and bought this card tried it out on many continuous shots including the surfers. It lets me take shots forever, what a difference it makes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive speed on a budget After spending some time with this card in my Olympus E-M5, I've been very impressed with how fast the writes are--I have it set to RAW+JPEG, and the card write icon is only on the screen for a moment. It's easily several times faster than the old non-UHS Class-10 card I have, and also appears in unscientific testing to be at least twice as fast as the older Sandisk Extreme 30MB/s card I have. Downloads on my iMac's built-in reader are also quite speedy; they are somewhat less than the rated 80MB/s, but it's several generations old so I'm not willing to say that it's the fault of the card. Given that only a few months ago, you'd have to pay two or three times this much for one of the ultra-speed cards that didn't hit these rates, it's a great buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's of SanDisk quality, awesome! Good for video recording in DSLR (because of it's relatively higher write speed). And for photography, 32 GB is perfect if you use RAW+JPEG mode. I mean, 32 GB is good enough so that you need not worry about running out of memory too soon. If you think 32GB is not enough for your days work, go for multiple SD cards (as experts suggest, you should not put all your eggs in one basket). So, for me, this product is awesome and what I was exactly looking for. And quality? It is SanDisk, so you can trust them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade over SanDisk 32GB Class 4 This is a great upgrade over SanDisk 32GB Class 4 SDHC Memory Card for my 5D Mark III...I can specifically feel the difference during burst mode shooting.I was hoping it would also make a difference during HDR shooting but I noticed the time taken for the camera to process HDR remained the same even with this card...which I guess might be because the processing speed of the CPU of the camera might be the processing bottleneck rather than the read/write speeds of the SD card.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SanDisk gets it right again While so many people rush out to get the cheapest memory card, they fail to understand how this impacts the use of one's digital camera. The SanDisk SDHC Extreme Class 10 UHS-1 is a brilliant card for those who don't want to wait long periods for writes to the card or for that matter, pulling data off of a card. I expect to be buying 3 more of these in the next several weeks and glad SanDisk came through with a product that is fairly priced for outstanding performance.

There are many factors that play into how many images can be stored on a 32GB card, such as file size and format. Please find the following chart from SanDisk to reference how many files can be stored on the 32GB Extreme Plus: http://bit.ly/1jmpEsd

question

will this sd cards work very well with Nikon D7000?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes it will. The D7000 is compatible with any type of SD card available in the market (up to SDXC which are 64gb and up). This card is one we commonly recommend for both still and video usage with the D7000 camera and is a good choice.

question

can I recover pics accidentally formatted?
Asked by: Anonymous
I haven't tried that. I've recovered files from damaged or formatted hard drives, though, so I think there's a chance, if the card hasn't been filled up again with other files (they would take the reserved space). Online there seem to be some solutions when you google: how to recover pictures from a flash card that is formatted
