SanDisk 32GB overview

  • 1Description

This 2-pack of 32GB Extreme UHS-I SDHC Memory Cards from SanDisk comes U3 compatible and features maximum read and write speeds of 80MB/s and 60MB/s, respectively, with minimum transfer rates of 10MB/s. Such speeds enable smooth continuous burst shooting, Full HD video capture and card-to-computer transfers. Additionally, the card is built to withstand up to 72 hr in 3.3' of salt or fresh water, and is also shockproof and immune to X-rays. A built-in write-protect switch prevents data from being accidentally modified, overwritten or deleted, while Advanced Error Correction Code reduces the risk of errors during data storage and retrieval, and prevents potential data corruption.

One year of downloadable RescuePRO media recovery software allows you to restore images that have been accidentally deleted. Additionally, you can write on the card's blank label for easy identification and organization, and you can store and protect the card in the supplied jewel case. Your investment is backed by a limited lifetime warranty (30-years in Germany, Canada, and regions that do not recognize lifetime warranties).

    SanDisk 32GB reviews

    32GB Extreme UHS-I SDHC Memory Card (U3, 2-Pack) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 94.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The right memory solution The two pack makes these upper end cards affordable and a good value. Ensuring your cards are a bit faster than your camera is a good concept. The question really becomes a matter of how much will you spend and can you ever use that speed. Checking your camera's manual will save you plenty of money. On mine, a single image store will use nearly all the speed of this card. A burst of 7 images slows down the camera, NOT THE CARD. For me spending more money would be foolish. Sandisk is a top name and despite years of use, I have never had a single issue with any of there products. This is the one brand I can support and choose without question.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast Enough for Me I purchased these cards for use with my new 24 megapixel Pentax K-3 camera. The write speeds are quite good - have not noticed much delay in being able to view the image on the back of the camera after shooting a short burst of shots. Slower cards can be frustratingly slow if you are one to chimp your shots. I have had several other SanDisk cards over the years and have never had a reliability problem with any of them. This is a manufacturer I trust and particularly trust their Extreme class of cards and above to provide great reliability and performance.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Might want to check the math. There is nothing wrong with the cards as a product. I have one and it seems to work fine. The only thing that I would like to point out is that the single card package of this card costs $44.95. Rounded up to 45 and multiplied by two, that makes the total cost for buying 2 of the single packages $90. Meanwhile, it would be good to notice that the cost for the 2 pack is $94.95, or 5 bucks more. Food for thought before buying the 2 pack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Fast I use the cards as for my dual mirrorless kit and it works great with my GH2 and E-PL5 for either stills or video Having been used to the speed of Compact Flash cards and the buffer size of Pro DSLRs, it was daunting to get used to the SD cards and the smaller buffers of mirrorless cameras. Having a fast card like this one helps a lot as I often like to shoot in 3 shot bursts to get that tack sharp photo handheld. The 32GB size is great as well for the 16mp cameras if you shoot both video and stills. With smaller sized memory, I often ran out during critical moments and missed opportunities because I had to change cards. On cameras that have side loading SD cards it may not be that hard, but on bottom loading ones that have the SD card with the battery, it gets more tedious especially when you have your camera mounted on a tripod or a stabilizer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Same As It Ever Was I was working on an independent film as a gaffer where the camera operator became frustrated when the SD card he had purchased continually stopped recording. As I suspected, it was because then card's read/write speed was not sufficient for HD capture. Fortunately, I had 2 SanDisk SDHC cards on hand so that the shoot could continue. Now I just need to get this cheap-skate to reimburse me...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable Fast SD card for your Pro Camer Got this for my Canon 6D and I use it mainly for my wedding photography and video business. I am very picky with memory cards and there are only 2 brands that I use based on experience. SanDisk is one of the brands that I can trust since it fast and reliable. It is a bit expensive compared to its class but you get what you pay for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the plus series are a plus using heavily shooting events, those cards are really good. specially the writing speed that speeds up the sequencial shooting. the only thing that matters to me is that SD cards are taking the place of PRO USE but I prefer the compact flash size, handling and the non exposed contacts fields of the SDcard.
