Easily mount your camera onto a tripod via the Sony VCT-U14 Tripod Adapter using the Tilta 15mm Quick Release Baseplate. You can make front and back adjustments thanks to the adjustable shoulder pad which is padded to give you comfort while carrying your camera on long shoots. question

Which quick release plate can I use to attach my camera to the Tilta? The original seems a bit short. Is it standard size? Manfrotto compatible perhaps?
Asked by: Fredrik L.
This Tilta BS-T03 includes a propitiatory quick release plate, it will not work with a Manfrotto plate. We do have the Quick Release plate available though as a replacement or additional part. It is B&H # TISPPLATE1.https://bhpho.to/2vYoT4a

question

I have a Panasonic AG-DVX200. Has anyone used this camera on this Tilta unit? Appreciate any direction.
Asked by: Stephen
This is a universal baseplate that you should be able to use a DVX200 on. However it is geared more towards DSLR cameras. You might want to look at the SHAPE VCT Universal Baseplate Arri Rosette, which has a design that may lend itself better to a camcorder.https://bhpho.to/2KkhByg

question

I'm looking to keep the base plate from this rig on our camera so we can quickly move the camera between our tripod (with the Sony VCT-U14 plate) and a new slider we just got. But I don't want to use this whole Tilta rig on the slider (too heavy). So I'm looking to buy a small ball head with a quick release system that will work with the top plate from this Tilta system. The QR plate is 2 1/8 wide and appears to mate to an Arca type QR system, but I can't find any QR clamps that are that wide. Anyone know how to do this? (I think this is the same basic question Luke P was asking, but his solution didn't make sense because Manfrotto doesn't make a 273 tripod plate, and according to Manfrotto's tech dept, they don't have any QR systems that are 2 1/8 wide.)
Asked by: Jim
I would also like to keep the Tilta TSP-PLATE1 attached to the bottom of my camera, and attach it to a gimbal or slider WITHOUT the bulky/heavy Titla shoulder rig components. Were you able to find a receiver that could accommodate the TSP-PLATE1?

question

Does this work with the large URSA?
Asked by: Kyla
It may not work very well. I imagine that the URSA may sit too high on the camera and be too large for the quick release mount. I wouldnt recommend it.

question

Fs100 play well with this rig?
Asked by: frank a.
You'll need to mount a monitor or some type of viewfinder off to the side for the FS100, but it should hold the camera just fine as long as you don't have a super-heavy lens. The mounting point is small for a camera as long as the FS100, but the FS100 is small for a camera that long, so it should balance out nicely as long as you don't overdo it with the lens.
