APC 750VA overview

  • 1Description

The 120V, black Smart-UPS X 750VA Tower/Rack with Network Management Card from APC provides power to your important computer components in the event of an electrical outage. The Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) contains a battery which continues to power computers, monitors and other components if the electricity is cut from them. An LCD status display provides information regarding the remaining battery life, load capacity and event notices. The battery is hot-swappable and easy to replace. The UPS features audible alarms that alert you of events like power outage and low battery, and the unit delivers battery-powered AC. In addition, the UPS is tower/rack convertible to protect the initial investment in the UPS when migrating from tower to rack mount environment.

Intuitive LCD Interface
Provides clear and accurate information in multiple languages with the ability to configure the UPS locally with easy-to-use navigation keys
High Frequency Design
Reduces or eliminates bulky transformers, resulting in lighter units for ease of handling
Auto Recognition of External Batteries
The UPS recognizes when external battery packs are attached and automatically adjusts runtime
Predictive Replace Battery Date
Dynamically provides the month and year when battery replacement is recommended to help plan long-term maintenance
Green Mode
The patent-pending operating mode bypasses unused electrical components in good power conditions to achieve superior operating efficiency without sacrificing protection
Energy Meter
Provides actual kilowatt hours of usage for energy conscious users
Pure Sine Wave Output on Battery
Simulates utility power to provide high compatibility for active PFC (power factor corrected) servers and sensitive electronic devices
Single Switched Outlet Group
A single outlet group may be controlled separately from the UPS for discrete reboot of hung devices, sequenced on/off and non-critical load shedding
High Online Efficiency
Reduces utility costs, generates less heat
Attach the device to an Emergency Power Off (EPO) system so that power can be turned off in an emergency situation
Customize UPS capabilities with management cards
Cold-Start Capable
Provides temporary battery power when the utility power is out
Temperature-Compensated Battery Charging
Prolongs battery life by regulating the charge voltage according to battery temperature
Scalable Runtime
Allows additional runtime when needed
Rack/Tower Convertible
Protects the initial investment in the UPS when migrating from tower to rack mount environment
Plug-and-Play External Batteries
Ensures clean, uninterrupted power to the loads when adding additional runtime to the UPS
Boost and Trim Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
Gives high application availability by correcting low and high voltage conditions, without using the battery (not available on all models)
Intelligent Battery Management
Maximizes battery performance, life and reliability through intelligent, precision charging
Power Conditioning
Protects connected loads from surges, spikes, lightning and other power disturbances
Temperature-Compensated Battery Charging
Prolongs battery life by regulating the charge voltage according to battery temperature
Automatic Restart of Loads After UPS Shutdown
Automatically starts up the connected equipment upon the return of utility power
Automatic Self-Test
Periodic battery self-test ensures early detection of a battery that needs to be replaced
Disconnected Battery Notification
Warns when a battery is not available to provide backup power
