question

Can this cable be used outdoors?
Asked by: Anonymous
The short answer: yes, it can be used outdoors. Wasn't sure if you were talking about for permanent installation or temporary. For a more permanent installation or somewhere where there is a lot of foot or vehicle traffic, you'll probably want to get the tactical version of the cable instead. However, we have used these cables (in addition to various lengths of tactical cables) in all kinds of weather for interconnecting Blackmagic gear without problems (as always, do everything that you can to protect the ends from the elements).
