The ASW-WP Two-Gang Auto-Switching Wall Plate from Intelix provides hands-free switching of analog and digital source inputs. It also features selectable HDCP compliance, ensuring non-compliant HDMI laptops and codecs can connect to the digital network. It is designed to be the primary PC interface for classrooms, boardrooms, and conference centers that continuously juggle the need for integrating VGA and HDMI laptops and tablets. The ASW-WP auto-switching wallplate merges the analog and digital worlds by providing HDMI and VGA/stereo audio source connectivity, and a fully digital HDBaseT extender output.

Suitable for table, floor, and wallbox installations, the ASW-WP automatically detects live video signal streams, switches between signals, embeds analog video and audio into a digital stream, and extends the signals up to 200' to a remote destination. It features a VGA+ audio to HDMI conversion and an HDMI input. Plus, embedded RS232 control provides remote display control and low power ECO modes.

The ASP-WP plate uses HDBaseT technology to extend the digital output up to 196.8' (60m) away using the standard CAT5e cable. The ASW-WP is compatible with Intelix HDBaseT matrix switchers and extenders. When used with an Intelix DIGI-HD60C-R twisted pair receiver, the ASW-WP receives power remotely via the connected twisted pair cable.

The unit is primarily designed to be used with the DIGI-HDC60-R receiver. The unit features multiple EDID modes to eliminate user confusion and incompatible video formats. It can be powered from the rear panel Power over HDBaseT (PoH). The built-in surge protection and diagnostic LEDs ensure hassle-free and robust installations. The ASP-WP can be programmed to control the connected display. The display manufacturer’s RS232 commands can be entered into the ASP-WP plate using the Display Control software. This allows display power and input to be automatically controlled based on video activity, eliminating the need for third party control system in many installations.
