Pocket Cinema Camera Battery is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Better options I purchased a few of these for my BMPCC, expecting them to have good performance, given they have the BM brand name. They perform very poorly in even slightly cold weather 50f. The camera tends to have trouble turning on at times with them also. There is no way I get the 50 minutes shooting time in the description, possibly 15-20, and that's not even shooting in Raw. I have a range of other no-name brand batteries that have twice the mAh, that were much cheaper. You are really just paying for the blackmagic logo on these batteries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fixed bmpcc battery issue Because the bmpcc drains battery life so fast. Theese batteries go bad fairly quick. An issue that i had with my camera was it wasn't turning on. Sometimes after plugging in the charger it wouldn't charge.. And when it did it only charged to 92%. After reading some forums on the issue, I decided to order a new battery from b&h. Really quick and easy ordering. The battery got out to me in a couple days even when i used standard shipping. And it was all so easy i did it from the app on my android device.. Now the battery issue is solved and my bmpcc is back in business quickly and working the way it should.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish these had longer battery life These are great because they're small and they recharge fairly fast. I got one from 0-100% in just over half an hour. Downside is, they burn fast. You can roll for 25-30 minutes before you have to switch out. It's great for the black magic pocket if you're keeping your rig small, but if you have it on a shoulder rig or tripod with more accessories (mattebox, larger lenses, viewfinder, etc) then I would highly recommend investing in larger Li-Ion batteries that have a v-mount. If you don't have the funds for that, make sure you have three to four of these on a charging station close by.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price performance reliability Using with Blackmagic Pocket Cinema camera of course. I've had mixed results from bargain third party EN-EL20 batteries in the BMPCC. Sometimes there are wide variances within the same third party brand. These batteries all seem to be QCd to a standard. They all get between 50-60 minutes record time. Many third party brands only last 30-35 minutes in some cases. These are good consistent quality batteries at a great price. Buy them by the bucketful. Eight can cover a typical shoot day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Retains Charge I use this as a second battery for my BMPC. I charged them both for a full hour, however they read 100% charge after 40+ minutes. What surprised me is that they retain a 80% charge outside of the camera for about a week. They do drain in about 45 minutes during operation, which is to be expected with such a powerhouse camera. If possible purchase a battery docking station for your rig. 4 stars only because idk if brand name matters whatsoever.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from You'll need a million of these For real. The hype isn't hype. This camera burns right through these things. Buy several. Put an extra one in your wallet...tucked into your hat...your glovebox.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't beat the price! I was taking a trip to the Grand Canyon and wanted to shoot it with my Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera and I needed a couple extra batteries. I was shocked to see how cheap they were and I bought two. My only complaint is that a full charge doesn't get you THAT much shooting time. (less than an hour) Other than that, they do exactly what they're supposed to do. I have 3 batteries now and was able to rotate them out while at the Canyon - they provided enough shooting time for my excursion :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For Blackmagic Pocket A must have for the Blackmagic pocket cinema camera. I have 7 of these and they give me about 6 hours of run time. About 1 hour each with focus peaking on and screen at 60 percent brightness.
