I have an Olympus DE M10 Markii and Konica ...

I have an Olympus DE M10 Markii and Konica Hexanon 50mm f1.7 lens. I asked about an adaptor at a local camera shop and they said some people can't get some adaptors off the camera. The only review here said tight fit. That's okay, but I want to be sure I can get it off. Also, does using Konica lens produce good portraits (seeing that it is now comparable to a 100mm lens on 4/3)? Thank you for assistance. I became aware of B & H through Robin Wong videos. Do I purchase through his link?

the fotodiox adapter is designed to properly mount your Hexanon lens to a micro four thirds camera. It's also designed to release the lens when you're done. As with any manufactured product, quality control is rarely 100%. There are no blanket guarantees. As to it being a suitable portrait lens for your camera, it certainly is, though you'll have no auto focus and metering options will be limited. If Robin Wong has a link to the B&H website and it benefits him if you use it, then please do so.
