The FotodioX Pro Canon FD Lens to Samsung NX-Mount Camera Adapter is a high quality adapter that allows you to mount a Canon FD mount lens to a Samsung NX camera body. It features a brass construction with a stainless steel finish as well as the ability to focus to infinity. This works with a leaf spring system for a secure attachment of the lens to the adapter.

Although the lens will fit physically, automatic lens control and functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. You can utilize aperture priority mode in combination with stop-down metering for automatic exposure control on your camera.

Pro Canon FD Lens to Samsung NX-Mount Camera Adapter is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the right fit I bought both fotodiox adapters, EOS and FD to NX mount. The eos worked fine but for some reason the fd mount was too snug for the NX1 camera. After a second look I discovered that male side for NX mounting for the two adapters were very different. I could never get my FD adapter to click on NX1 whatsoever, to the point I feared something might break if I turned the adapter anymore. I eventually sent my adapter back in for a refund.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Use great old lenses with your new NX Great product that works well. Only gripe is how tight a fit it is and no instructions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This FD adapter works at bargain price! I'm pleased to be able to use my FD lenses with this adapter. It has good build quality and goes on pretty well, though perhaps a tad tight, but better that than a loose fit. My images are sharp and I can control iris on the lenses. I can still bump in magnification for focus check with peaking assist. It's the least expensive adapter I've ever bought, but it works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great adapter at a good price. Overall the adapter works great. It is stiff to put onto the camera body, but holds the lens on securely.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Once you figure it out, it works Right out of the package, it's very apparent that this adapter is very well made. The connections to both Canon FD and FDn lenses and the NX camera body are rock solid with no chatter. And it works very well as a dumb FD to NX adaptor as well, once you figure it out. It comes with a nice pouch but not a single word of instructions for use. That's the reason for not getting 5 stars. Here are my mini-instructions: For original FD lenses, move the aperture ring to wide open (Do Not use A) and move the aperture control lever on the back of the lens counter-clockwise until it clicks. For FD lenses, the Install ring on the adapter does not appear to have a use (see FDn below). Line up the red dot on the FD lens breech lock with the inner red dot on the adaptor to allow the breech lock to turn by itself onto the adaptor. Tighten the breech lock the rest of the way. Look through the back of the lens and turn the lens aperture ring. You should see the lens iris open and close. Attach the joint unit adapted lens to the camera body as normal. For newer FDn lenses, also turn the aperture ring to wide open (Do Not use A), but do NOT touch the aperture control lever on the back of the lens. Now this time turn the adapter Install ring TO the word Install. Line up the red dots to attach the units turning the adapter clockwise. Make sure the adaptor's aperture control lever is just near the flat side of the lens' rear aperture control lever. Turning the Install ring AWAY from the work Install will now engage the lens' aperture control. Look through the back of the lens and turn the lens aperture ring. You should see the lens iris open and close. Attach the joint adapted lens to the camera body as normal. Put the camera in Aperture Priority, turn any in camera focus assist features on, and shoot away. My results herald a brand new life for all my old Canon FD lenses.
