Not that we are aware of. This is specifically for the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM Lens.

That tripod collar will not work on the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM. It is for the L version. The Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM does not have the ability to use a Tripod collar.

Is this a good buy versus the overpriced Canon mount?
no it did not fit we also tried another one and it did not fit. I also was looking on that lens and it does not look that it will let you put a collar on it. My being branded to photography I had no idea. However your company specializes in photography equipment and should have known and stays me all the trouble and expense I went through.

What is the size of the foot? I would like to get a compatible arca swiss plate.
The base is 49mm long x 43mm (tapering to 40mm). It tapers down to 40mm across the length. The taper begins 10mm from the ring end to the foot end.I hope that makes sense. I just want to be as precise as possible for you.
