LensCoat RainCap Reviews
Handy little cap for lens
Great cover cap for lens when changing positions while raining or at beach or any other inclement weather. Easy to put on and take off.,
Good but not great
Nice waterproof cap but ages badly with the seam strip disintegrating and covering my lens/hood in white powder
Goes great with the RainCoat Pro
I took away one star because I feel like this should be standard part of the Rain Coat Pro (stop de-bundling, just charge a little more). Otherwise, just what you would expect.
Delivers as advertised
Product keeps water and dust from collecting on lens from element while walking around the wood a looking for subjects to photograph. Very useful to have... the only problem is I keep losing them
Nice soft product
Large is right! Soft, supple, fits nicely over my 500mm lens
Great fit and perfect color pattern
The lens cap cover fits over the lens hood easily. It keeps rain or dust off of the lens hood and lens when you're waiting for that shot. I got it with the larger Lenscoat rain cover for the Nikon 300 mm f/2.8. I think the digital camo is the best color for the dry brown southwestern US.
It seems fine
I haven't needed it yet, so I cannot verify rain resistance.
Looks good but...
Just got this rain coat and lens cap and immediately the bungee cords gotten loose from their plastic anchors. I have to put a knot at the end to keep it from slipping through the plastic lock. Not a big deal and I can probably figure it out in putting them back in place. Just not expecting something like this to happen when I've not even really used them yet. Otherwise, I'm excited to test them out soon. I'm sure they'll serve their purpose for what they're made for.
