Two 1/4"-20 and two 3/8"-16 holes on the base allow you to mount the slider onto most tripods. A reversible thread on the trolley will take most tripod heads, allowing you to easily mount your camera on the slider. The included smartphone clamp allows you to mount your cell phone on the carriage.

Removable rubber-tipped feet provide traction on smooth surfaces
Four non-threaded holes on the slider base allow you to mount the slider on two light stands or add DIY attachments like a strap, a microphone, or a battery pack

I thought this would be too short but it does a fantastic job. Compact and easy to carry around. I also use my gopro on it which is handy too. I dont use it for anything other than to add another dimension to my finished work for my own use. Happy with the slide setup. For the price its great.

I find it a great little slider. Fits in my backpack with the top sticking out and does very good. I like that it feels strong and like it won't break.

Awesome!

I'd been using a skate dolly and wanted more versatility so I bought this after a good bit of research and I think it's the best 60 bucks you can spend. Plenty of length but compact, well-made, stiff and strong. I put it on a cheapie Dolica tripod, put the ball head on top and was good to go—beautiful slides from the get-go, no tipping or bending. One tiny quibble: the 3/8 bushing on the carriage was machined a bit rough and was sticky when I went to remove it from the ball head, but that's easily replaced. Everything integral to the slider was well made. You can spend more for ball bearings and belt drives and so forth, but if your sliding technique is good you won't get better shots than this will give you. I put a 2 lb. DSLR on the setup with no trouble. It doesn't come with a case so you might want to get some sort of bag to protect the rails from getting dinged. Slik makes a two-footer for eight bucks. Again, if you don't want to spend a lot on a slider this will give you pro results.

This is really cheap for a slider and you can tell from some small issues that may come up. For example, the sliding part tends to get stuck if it sits to far forwards (i.e. with a heavy lens) but if you just push it downwards on the back, this won't happen. It also feels very strong, but that makes it pretty heavy. However, that's better than being light, because it would probably be a cheap material. It is just enough distance to get pretty much any shots I need, whether it's something close up or far away. Other than that, it takes some testing and practicing to get a consistent slide, and might take a few attempts to get the shot you want. But I would definitely recommend if you have a low budget, as I've used it for almost a year and will keep using it.

So far so good

I've been using this for just a couple of days and in this time period, it's been working really well. I added the pros to the list below however the cons were longer so I put them right here Cons - A little wobbly on the tripod at times - If the camera is tilted down, the sliding piece leans forwards and isn't very smooth - When I use a camera, lens, microphone and light on it, it gets a bit less smooth with all the weight
